For a Wetherspoons this is a good one. Nice inside and better quality food than other local spoons. However at least 3 times now the staffing behind the bar has been woeful. I normally come mid afternoon to order food when it isn't particularly busy. Usually there are three or four staff loitering round the bar but only one of... More

Only went in for a morning coffee but was a pleasant experience. The staff were really polite, helpful and friendly. The espresso was of good quality. sat outside in the garden which was clean and pleasant. I will go again, maybe for food next time. They had menus for a range of dietary needs.

Four of us visited this pub last week. I believe it was curry night. One of the party had a curry which looked lovely. Two of us had steak, I must say it was pretty damn good. Cooked just as required. You can't really go wrong with a wetherspoons. £33 for a meal for four and drinks included. 👍🏻 the... More

Visited for an evening meal with friends. Had a 14oz Aberdeen Angus steak, med. rare, delicious cooked to perfection with jet. Potato and salad, friend had the same said hers was very good couldn't eat it all. Good bottle of Rioja to wash it down. Wife and her friend had scampi which was alright but disappointed there was no cod... More

We have passed this Wetherspoon a number of times. Have decided not to go in due to the number of scruffy individuals who were outside and in the bar area. This time, there were none to be seen. The internal decor is very interesting and unusual. Service getting served was slow as only one member of staff serving despite the... More

a big airy and somewhat noisy place, but I retreated to the back courtyard after ordering at the bar, where it was lovely. Service friendly and quick, food lovely. toilets clean, restaurant area inside not so, but that was due to the clientele. a 'party' of mums who basically allowed their toddlers to run and litter everywhere. I would not... More

We use Witherspoon's a lot all around UK because its cheap but for some reason this pub seems to have the same menu as everywhere else but it seems portions sizes vary with certain dishes, like the burgers don't have much salad etc in it. Plus skimpy on chips and when we've ordered curry dishes before the naan bread was... More

Sorry to hear your visits with us have not been as satisfactory as they should be. I will pass your comments on to my kitchen manager as our portion sizes should be identicle to other Wetherspoon pubs and our curry meals come with naan bread unless a customer requests otherwise so I apologise for the error. We hope you will... More

Have eaten cheaply in Wetherspoons all over England many times as it is great for quick lunch. Not exactly a restaurant but good value for money. The setting here is lovely. There were not any all day drunks in evidence as is usual for Wetherspoons. Steak was the best I have eaten in a long time. Lovely setting and good... More

Actually the food isn't bad at all, especially for the price. Great value and the service is pretty decent. I do rather like their breakfasts too!
