Excellent Food - Friendly, attentive (but not too attentive) staff. All necessary Covid precautions in place- as a result of reduced covers- need to book

A real find. Beer is good, staff friendly (and a laugh) and the food excellent and great value. The burgers and pizzas are both to be recommended.

My friend and I and our kids visited here in September 2019 and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome, with delicious food. From our conversation with the lady serving, who was in fact the land lady, it is a family run pub and...they moved down from London. I returned today with my little boy and other half and it was even better than the first time. In the height of season, I would recommend booking. Within 30 mins of opening, all tables in and out were full. It is clean. Fresh. Open. Doesn't have a dingy pub vibe at all. My partner said it was the cleanest beer he had ever tasted. The food was incredible, at the minute they have a deal for £15 for 2 meals (any pizza, burger or hotdog) and I definitely recommend their onion rings. Probably the best onion rings I have ever eaten, and my partner agreed. Friendly staff! Will 100% return when I am next down Dymchurch.More

We were looking for a dog friendly pub to eat, 8 people and 3 cockapoos, for a table set up and the staff were lovely; excellent beers (try the Palm it’s awesome) ladies had a lovely bottle of wine and the food was outstanding, I...had the Italian meats pizza, wife had the fish board, a Caesar saad big enough to feed 3 and several awesome burgers later, paid the bill and with several round of drinks and 8 meals it was £100 and worth more, very highly recommended!!!!!More

On two extremely hot summer days, this fantastic pub is a beautiful place, stunningly tucked away. Food was amazing with good sized portions, staff were lovely, engaging and felt like they would go an extra mile for you. If this place were elsewhere, it would...loose it's charm.More

We had a fantastic time eating out here! The food was incredible and full of flavour. The ladies serving us were fantastic and couldn’t be more attentive if they tried! The food came out quickly and pipping hot! Not only did it look delicious and...presented well, it tasted amazing, so much so that we took a doggy bag home with us! Very reasonably priced as we had their burger and pizza deal! Would 100% recommend a visit! We did ring ahead the night before to book at a table which was a good choice as it was understandably quite busy!More

Although restaurant has ongoing restoration works it is worthwhile sampling the Sunday roast. Very efficient service. Once works are complete, it will be a crowd puller especially with the car being opposite. Children’s menu very good.
