Brilliant for a light lunch. Beautiful thick, fresh sandwiches. Cakes to die for! Sat outside and watched the world go by on a very hot day. Very friendly staff and great with children ( 3 year old and 5 month old).

Cosy, quaint, tasty, excellent choice, inexpensive, friendly and delightfully British. Every town in England should have a Mary's Tea Room. We look forward to another visit.

I don't think dogs are allowed inside, but there is outside seating. Which is partly fenced off from the road. I would give Mary a ring to see what she says she is a very nice funny lady. Hope this helps.

We are a traditional tea room with only home-made cakes and pastries which are baked on the premises by Mary herself, we offer a selection of light lunches prepared to order and which varies daily. The tea room itself has been thoughtfully decorated to enhance the feeling of a bygone era, with the use of embroidery on the tablecloths and beautiful bone china tea sets. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and visitors are encouraged to relax and feel at home.
