In a large group we sat in the conservatory and watch 2 rats scrambling about behind the kitchen...... curry served with salad and potatoes with no rice on the buffet... DREADFUL!

This is a lovely friendly pub to stay overnight in a motor home in the car park for anyone travelling by ferry at Dover as only 11 miles away

First try at this country pub and not disappointed, a reasonable menu and all main courses home made. started off with the prawns and avacado followed with a truly delightful steak and kidney pudding served with vegetables and a lovely pot of gravy. Our host was a very pleasant young lady of whom nothing was too much bother and mum... More

This was the second time we had stayed overnight at the Plough and Harrow in our motorhome before heading off for the dover to Calais ferry. Now one of many britstop locations for motorhomers. This time we arrived in time for dinner and confirm the food is great pub grub and recommend it, Janet and her daughter made us feel... More

We visited the Plough and Harrow for supper. There was a great welcome from the staff and a good homely menu of home made excellent food. This is a family run pub owned by a brewery, it's a shame these so called brewery's do not spend some of their money on the up keep of these pubs as the car... More

On arrival we received a lovely welcome by the young lady behind the bar and sat at the table by the log burner - a welcome touch on a cold and wet day. When ordering... More

8 of us sat down at a table in the bar, right by the fire place and had an amazing feast of delicious food! We had a 3 course meal with a selection of apitisers before the meal. Everything was very generously portioned, tasted lovely and despite being a fairly large group little waiting was needed for everyone to get... More

Just had a book club Christmas meal ( pre book) which was out of this world! All home made excellent food from 3 varieties of bread to accompany starters, to fabulous main courses to mouth watering desserts. An unexpected antipasta arrived to rival anything I've had before. Cannot reccomend this menu highly enough and all for £19.50!!! so good I... More
