The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean and bright. The service is friendly and efficient. Although the food was not to my personal liking (I would have liked some lighter choices as everything came with sauces and mashed potato), it was well cooked, nicely presented and good size portions. Everyone enjoyed their meal and it was good value for... More

We are regulars at the Three Compasses so do not always think to write a review. However on Friday evening we were a party of seven with our daughter and her friends and we were reminded who good the 3Cs can be. We ordered from all corners of the menu and the food was universally well received and appreciated with... More

Just really good cooking, nice menu and very pleasant house wine. You really feel that everything is made in house (which is sadly not always the case) including the bread rolls. We thought it looked bit pricey (most mains were £15.95 each) but as this was for the complete dish including vegetables it seemed good value for quality food. Pleasant... More

Three of us went out for a meal; the one paying had eaten in London the night before, at a well known chef's place and said that he preferred his meal at the Three Compasses. We saw the size of the portions before we ordered and opted not to have starters. Two of us ate the beef which was delicious and... More

For Sunday lunch there is an excellent menu to choose from, not just 'roast'. Everything is well cooked and presented, and good value. The pricing is simple, with none of the arbitrary differences of £1 between items that is such an unnecessary feature of most menus. The service is quick and friendly.

As above. Lovely meal, lovely food. Nothing more really to say but apparently I can't submit this until I have 100 characters.

Enjoyed a family evening meal here, was greeted by the friendly and polite owners, the menu is well balanced with good variety. The food is well cooked with good quality ingredients. The scallop starter and espresso brûlée desert are of notable mention. The restaurant has a good atmosphere with a nice sea theme. The only sight downfall was the waitress... More

We enjoyed an excellent dinner here, whilst watching Deal carnival parade by the window! (This was not planned by us!) There is a very pleasant atmosphere with friendly, efficient staff and the menu offered us a good choice. The food was excellent, with large portions. I can recommend this restaurant .

Thank Teresa T
