A return visit for lunch with family. Cosy and warm inside, the waitress bought a huge blackboard displaying the menu to the table - there's a good choiceof both starters and mains but after eating we were too full for dessert. The food was good and well presented, staff friendly and efficient and we'll visit again. Recommended.

We were taken here for dinner when staying with friends who live nearby in Pluckley. It was not our first visit to this pub, but it was a timely reminder of what an excellent pub this is. They offer a good range of real ales served direct from the barrel (including Harvey's Sussex Best) and the dinner menu is very... More

This pub has everything. Atmosphere, cosiness, excellent food. The lunch-time starter menu was so enticing it was difficult to choose. My field-mushroom filled with caremelised red onion on a bed of lettuce topped with a grilled goats cheese was artistically served and delicious. Friendly and efficient personnel who added to the pleasure of being there. Wish it was my local.

Went out on a Thursday night with friends and thought we would try the Three Chimneys and so glad we did. Lovely atmosphere, great food, and Adnams beer was fantastic. All our starters and mains were beautiful, couldn't fault anything. The waitresses were nice and friendly. Will definitely be back and recommending it to our friends.

Stumbled across this charming little pub a few weeks ago. Upon entering I was warmly greeted by what appeared to be the locals. Staff were professional but very friendly making both myself and my dog very welcome. Stayed for a ad hoc spot spot of lunch (the lamb) which was first class. All in all a cracking little pub which... More

This place is at the top of my list when we decide to have a meal out. My partner and I have had many meals here over the last seven years and every single time has been excellent. A brilliant choice on the menu, I like to eat fish and there is always a good fish dish or two on... More

I'm a local to the Three Chimneys, and have visited many times over the last few years. The ambiance and setting is great - this is a very pretty pub with lovely friendly staff. But the food the latest time I visited was decidedly average. There were three of us fir lunch, and all of our food was mediocre. A... More

Visited this beautiful restaurant yesterday, and can say that it is one of the best places I've been for food!! Presentation and quality is to an extremely high standard and all staff were very helpful. It is a bit pricey but you don't mind when you are getting such amazing food. Can't wait to return!!

I really wanted to like this pub. The last time I was there was about 4 years ago; while it was okay at the time I remember thinking that something felt a bit off. Anyway, we decided to retry it, went in on a Sunday afternoon about 2.30pm, perfect summery day yet the venue was half empty. Alarm bells started... More

Your review is astonishing! Half empty on a Sunday in August at 2:30pm... I think not. Why would staff go "headless chicken" regarding a vegetarian option when there is ALWAYS a vegetarian option available? "The only roast was beef, everything else had run out..." How extraordinarily offensive this statement is. I have no problem with peoples' opinions and welcome constructive... More
