We had fab fish and chips from this fish bar, queues can be long and it is in quite a small space, but it is well worth a visit when visiting the area.

Rainbow Fish Bar is a good Fish 'n Chip shop. As others have said its popularity means that it is busy, because it is busy there are often queues. It is worth waiting though, you rarely have to queue for longer than 20 minutes. The staff are friendly, the food is very good and reasonably priced. A huge selection of... More

Fish and chips were good from here but we had to wait a long time for our order due to the amount of people ordering. Very efficient system to get food to people as quick as possible. Recommended but be prepared for a wait!

Went here after a disappointing visit to another chip shop up the road earlier in the week. The queue seemed ridiculously long but it actually only took ten minutes to get to the till. After that we had to join another queue to wait for the food. Thought it would take ages but actually was twenty minutes once we had... More

Unfortunately there was a long queue both out of the KIN door and also from the OUJ door. We joined the queue not knowing how long it would be before we could order. However, they work top a... In the summer we come here for our chippies and take them to Freshwater bay to eat. Very clean establishment, quick service. The large fish portions are done to order and taste lovely. Do not reach over the counter and pinch a chip- I did and got told off! And then I read the large sign asking you not to... More

Arriving at 6.45pm on Friday evening I could see a crowd of people at one of the doorways. It took a while to work out that there was a system for the queue which went in one door and out another. The crowd of people turned out to be people who had queued once, ordered and paid, but were yet... More
