Having booked we arrived and were seated promptly as we were the first in the place. Our waitress who I think may have been the owner was quite brusk we felt. We tried to make conversation but somehow we all just didnt connect. The food was ok (small portions for main). There were 5 of us and we couldnt put... More

Very enjoyable restaurant with beautifully cooked food. Reasonably priced for the quality involved. We did not book but suspect would need to book in high season

An enjoyable evening but we didn't expect somewhere so small and intimate. The food was tasty but would have expected more for the price we paid. And not, it really is very small!

Managed to book at the third attempt and it was well worth the wait. The restaurant is small but nice, it has a limited menu but we had no trouble in choosing a meal which we each wanted. In hindsight it would of been a good idea to have three courses as the main meals are not huge, but having... More

We wandered in a bit unsure, particularly as the menu seemed to be quite short, but wow what a fantastic food experience. I started with goats cheese with goats cheese ice cream and my partner had the smoked mackerel pate. Both were delicious. Followed up by the lamb loin and shank for my partner and the steak for me. The... More

We hadn't booked and turned up at 9pm on a Thursday evening, at first the lady seemed a bit off but it transpired a staff member had not turned up and so she was the only front house. Food was lovely and I would highly recommend a visit, maybe worth booking.

Had a stop over in Cowes which took us to Number 3 for dinner and it was very good. Great starter with a superb main to follow, wine was good and reasonably priced, service was friendly and the food which came out of a very small kitchen. All in all the evening was a great success and we would definitely... More

We enjoyed a really great meal here in November 2015 after a recommendation from a friend who visits the IOW regularly. I cant rate the food highly enough and the service was brilliant too. Well worth a visit.
