Went for luck today, good choice on the menu and good value. Portions were generous. Fish and chips was lovely, nice crispy batter. Sandwiches were made with homemade bread. Staff were very polite. Will be going back soon

This very central to Tring High Street, also the main car park is there... We always have a warm welcome here, its nice to go and have food brought to your table that you haven't had to cook, we were one of the first in for food today, these days I have to be careful what I eat, so having... More

The lovely staff were great to decorate and set up an area for our friends and family to have a birthday meal for my husband. Adapted the menu for us and the food was delicious. We all had a great time. Will certainly recommend. Thank your

Visited this pub with friends for Sunday lunch recently. Food was good but service was quite slow and seemed disorganised - we eventually asked when our food would arrive and were told it would be another 10 minutes - but it was nearer to 25 minutes - a real problem for one of my friends who is diabetic! Unfortunately, they... More

I went today with a lunch club I belong to, 10 of us turned up only to find we had not been booked in, the Man behind the bar said he had one off sick but was happy to accommodate us, so we all got our drinks ordered and waited some an hour but we were all talking and didn't... More

It may have been the hot weather, but this isn't the pub for a relaxing Sunday afternoon beer. Too many geezers with dogs for my liking. It says real cask ales but there are only two on tap, which was a bit disappointing. If your with kids it's probably for you, as they have a large garden and bouncy castle.... More

Nice local pub with a range of ales, lagers, and ciders on tap. Large selection of wines. Food is really tasty and good value for money. Entertainment is on most weekends ranging from bands to acoustic sets, the regular disco is a good night playing a vast range of music. Sky sports and BT sports are available. Theres a large... Myself and two friends went to the Black Horse today for our Lunch, it is central to the town and to where I live, it had only opened at 12 noon so a little empty but we carried on and we ordered my food was excellent and my two friends enjoyed there's as well..
