Well worth a visit if you are looking for a decent, traditional pub in Tring. I really enjoyed y meal and would happily eat here again. The wife is a Veggie and slightly less excited about her dish but still thought it was a decent pub. Go give it a try, located in the back streets of Tring and steeped... More

Meals and service always high standard, and food tasty. This pub very busy at times, which shows its popularity. The food is well cooked, nicely presented, and reasonably priced. Only down side, not parking, and nearby streets are narrow and very congested.

We have eaten here twice and the service is friendly and efficient, the choice of beers is very good and the food is excellent. There is a courtyard one can sit out in when the weather permits and a restaurant in the old stable which has been beautifully renovated although we ate in the pub proper.

Superb 'back street' boozer however reason for our visit was a post-Parkrun breakfast. The breakfast menu offers a choice of 'hair of the dog' pick me ups or traditional juices/water, usual hot drinks, and superb breakfast options. Sampled was the Full English with poached eggs - excellent. Friendly attentive service - to marks!

Lovely food, great drinks selection and very friendly staff. What more could you ask for? We really enjoy coming to this pub for a drink after work, although it usually turns into a few... Definitely worth a visit

This pub was good when it was just a pub, now it also has a comfortable dining room making it even better. The food is lovely, and the menu always has some interesting dishes. By pub standards it's a bit pricy but is generally worth the extra. The beer is good and the staff are great, we will be returning.
