This is a pleasant and atmospheric English pub with a great range of drinks. Visited on a Sunday and ordered roasts. If you enjoy tough meat and vegetables that are overcooked or have been standing for a while then this is the place for you....More

This is a lovely pub. Very friendly staff, great food - can certainly recommend the fish and chips - and the house wine was brilliant. Have been before and will definitely go again.

My wife and I discovered this atmospheric country pub as we weaved our way back to Stratford-upon-Avon after our very enjoyable trip to Shrewsbury. Our satnav suddenly took us down some country lanes and we ended up facing the Stockton Cross Inn which looked very...More

Fantastic little local 's pearl this surely be. And able to accommodate the weary traveller and his mate, without a fuss, to a first class Sunday lunch for two. Both at a reasonable price to boot!! I had the Chicken wrapped in Bacon which was...More

The Stockton Cross Inn serves good food and beer and is popular with local residents. It has two entrances to their car park as it is approachable from two directions. The menu is rather basic and somewhat lacking in vegetarian choices but it can be...More

Hi, sorry for the delay in answering we don't really bother with trip advisor..... Yes dogs are more than welcome, all we ask is that they are well behaved and kept on a lead at all times.

Just read your review & the landlord's response re. Stockton Cross. His long litany of excuses were pathetic, he was impacting his problems onto you the customer, instead of just apologising.

Description
The Stockton Cross Inn is a 16th century black and white pub in Kimbolton. Here at The Stockton Cross we are passionate about great tasting seasonal 'pub grub' and we aim to source our produce as locally as we can. We are open 11am-11pm every day and serve food from 12 - 8 Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday roasts 12 - 4. We serve local cask ales & local cider and our wines are sourced from Tanners. We also use these Herefordshire made ales and ciders in many of our dishes. We have a large beer garden at the face of the pub and an ample carpark at the rear.
