I went here for dinner and had a very pleasant meal. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and were intrigued by the menu. This place is very different to the standard curry house we are used to in the UK. They base there food on a specific area of India. So you don't get the standard... More

A little different from your standard Indian Restaurant with plenty of fish options on the menu-Lovely friendly service and very reasonably priced. The portion sizes are not very large but the quality of the ingredients is good. I can recommend the fish curry-very tasty.

I went there with an Indian colleague who comes from South India and his feedback was very positive so that is a big plus. I was not impressed though. Starters were OK but main dish was not. Fish curry was tasteless and portion was too small. Overall average food and OK service but nothing special.

Great place with friendly staff, a good atmosphere - even though we visited mid-week - and very good food.

A colleague booked this restaurant for an after work get together. This place was rated highly on Trip Advisor so my expectations were naturally high, which added to the big hunger I brought with me. This place has an interesting look about it and the decor was ok. The starters were ok but nothing special. The main looked good but... More

Haven't been for a couple of years but dropped in on a Sunday with my wife and found it to be as good as it was on our last visit. Staff friendly and the food is excellent Great selection of proper Indian food.

We went on two separate occasions and were not disappointed on both the visits. The food is as authentic as we have tasted in London for this cuisine (so different from all the ones in east ham and some of the other locations we have been to while exploring the ones in the city) and the service is good too.... Liked this place very much. Lovely freshly cooked food and reasonably priced. If you want food with sloppy sauces this isn't the place for you. The South Indian cuisine they serve is much drier and more flavoursome. I had the sea bass massalla which was a whole sea bass, stuffed with prawns and vegetables, with potato and lemon rice side... A lovely change to the usual so-called 'Indian' restaurants (about 95% are in fact Bangladeshi) and I looked forward to the renowned South Indian coastal cuisine of Kerala, known for its fish and vegetarian curries. Since one of my daughters is vegetarian we went to the Cochin for a rare dad-daughter 1-2-1 bit of quality time and really looked forward... More

My partner and I went here for dinner. What amazing food and the staff are really lovely friendly and very attentive. I can honestly say it's by far the best Indian food I've ever had! And will be a regular at the Cochin restaurant. :)
