Lovely Sunday lunch with all the trimmings and a nice bottle of wine , great relaxed atmosphere , lots of spacing with a covered marquee area. 7 of us booked in over 2 tables well looked after by the staff , will be back
We were holidaying as 2 couples with 2 dogs in the area. Temple Bar Inn was recommended by our accommodation owner for a dog friendly Sunday lunch.
We walked into a very friendly, welcoming pub. Sunday lunch was wonderful, Nonna's peas were a real treat!!!...We would definitely revisit and highly recommend.More
My wife and I had a bank holiday weekend away with our daughter and her husband to go walking in the Brecon Beacons and stayed for three nights at the Temple Bar. We had a fantastic stay, the rooms are very clean with plenty of...space, comfortable beds and very good en suite facilities. Gino and Rachael (and Bella) are brilliant hosts and they have wonderful staff who looked after us really well. The pub was lively in the evening with a friendly atmosphere and not at all noisy in the rooms at bedtime. We ate at the pub for two of the evenings, the food was excellent. They even saved us some roast Sunday lunch to eat in the evening (not many places open on a Sunday evening in those parts) and it was delicious. Breakfasts were also excellent with lovely coffee. Fantastic value, we will be back!More
I last drank in this village pub 39 years ago, having then moved from the area. As we were visiting we thought we would call in to see how it had changed. It was a fantastic idea. We decided to have the lunchtime special and...certainly weren't disappointed. The pub was very well managed, in these times of coronavirus. The staff were extremely pleasant and the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. The choice of beers is more than sufficient for the average pub goer. Although we visited on a"specials" lunchtime there is quite an extensive menu which I'm sure would meet most tastes. Now that I have revisited I shall make a point of calling back again to sample the other menu choices and for a bit of nostalgia. Well done to the management and staff.More
Wonderful pub, dropped in on the off chance for lunch. Food was lovely and pub has a charming and inviting feel. Staff great, pity our young waitress couldn’t raise a smile though despite our efforts to engage her.
