Cafe, Post Office, pub and second hand bookshop on the same site with easy parking. Good home cooked food and friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed a full cooked all day breakfast and a generous buttered tea cake before browsing the books.

I brought two of my American clients here, on a tour of the Black & White villages of Herefordshire. We had a lovely cream tea here, The New Strand is always welcoming and friendly. Thanks again! Rob Exploring Mid Wales

This is a great village hub, a tea shop/cafe, a bar, a post office, a book shop, home-grown vegetables... A family run affair, and always so friendly and accommodating.
