Having stayed at the Grove previously (Nov 2012), and enjoyed the breakfast buffet; my husband and I visited in Aug 2016 for his birthday. What a disappointing drop in standards. The selection was much scarcer, with almost everything tasting like it came out of a packet, including the tasteless, lukewarm 'hot' items. Unlike previously, the food did not taste fresh,... More

Recently received a voucher for this restaurant as a leaving present from my old place of work and what a generous gift this was! Started the evening by sitting in the lounge area and had a couple of cocktails with complimentary nibbles (wasabi popcorn I think and crisps). All servers were very polite and unobtrusive from the off. We were... More

I recently visited this restaurant with family for Sunday lunch and was completely astonished at what goes on here. We started our lunch with the buffet starters that are extremely limited unless you like seafood. The main course is mostly carvery of which is perfect but not at the Glasshouse. There is a selection of three carvery meats lamb, rare... More

Have been coming here for so many years and have enjoyed many dinners here with different friends and family. This time round was in celebration of my dad's birthday. Everything was on point that evening. The Indian station was full to the brim and offered a lovely choice of meat curry, rice, vegetarian dahl and pakoras, as well as naan... More

the atmosphere was devine, pleasant, and inviting. the staff was on point. the manager greeted us at the entrance to the restaurant, with a warm smile on her face. the food was fresh, because of course I hit the sushi bat first, then moved on. I was amazed at the Indian section. every bite took your taste buds to India.... More

Just popped in for a cocktail before dinner elsewhere.Cocktails priced according to the venue... Great variety of cocktails and the waiter serving offered advice and was extremely pleasant and helpful. I assume the area we sat in is a pre courser to dinner in the Glasshouse but wouldn't go again unless I was having dinner because it was not a... More

A little bit to pretentious for what it is without backing it up. Food ok, service very cold and slow, have tried both restaurants here and won't rush back.

Very good food and service bu.t not an intimate place and would not rush back.......very pricey and I mean very......drink prices are loaded which cannot really be justified purely by reputation of the place......golf great but wouldn't want to pay £180 a round at ppeak for what is not what might be called a great course

We went here tonight for our pearl (30th) anniversary with our 2 children. Selection was limited, especially for main course. I stood at the fresh cooking station as I didn't fancy car very and no one was serving. I eventually ended up with curry which had obviously been standing too long and congealed . truly awful. Never going back. Nothing... More
