We were brought a traditional afternoon tea for two as a wedding present. We arrived at the hotel reception to be met by a very friendly young man, who took us round to the Lounge area for our afternoon tea. The waitress took us through the large selection of different "teas" available and that we could upgrade with a glass... More

Following a morning round of golf, I explored the hotel and settled on the Glasshouse for a late lunch. There is both outdoor and indoor seating, and either a bar or restaurant. I elected to eat outside, which was obviously popular on August bank holiday Monday, as the weather was mostly sunny and warm, with little breeze getting into the... More

We had dinner here when we visited The Grove and the range of foods - Mediterranean, English, Eastern and Japanese + children's options - were excellent and high quality. The service was also excellent and nearly always delivered with a smile. Would definitely go back.

Over priced and pretentious, full of people who just want to be seen. Food was nothing to be excited about, service poor and they also managed to give us the wrong bill not just once but 3 times. I would have rather spent the money on 5 Harvesters than 1 meal here. Wanted a nice treat but got disappointment no... More

We were taking guests out, and did not know the area. Found The Glasshouse on line and booked with our fingers crossed. We had a small baby with us which was no problem, the staff was great. We sat outside under a big umbrella on a beautiful night. The buffet was very good, and the flexibility was exactly what we... More

Second visit to the Glasshouse. Still best buffet I have been to. My daughter has a nut allergy so is restricted when eating out. The staff accommodated her dietary requirements as the same as last year, when we visited last. Very pleased.

Dinner Buffet at the Glasshouse: Excellent wide choice of food and yes certainly better choice than your average buffet but all the same still a pricey buffet (I didn't pay but was told it was near£50/head excluding drinks) with wines at v expensive almost rip off pricing. Food was well cooked but nothing stuck out as exceptional cooking but to... More

We were touring the Grand Union canal on our 30th wedding anniversary and wanted somewhere special to celebrate. It was a Monday and the very expensive restaurant at the Grove (5* Hotel) was closed. The Glasshouse offered a buffet (all you can eat) for £45/head. The food was excellent and we wished we were hungrier. The ambiance was very peculiar.... More

Lovely place, excellent food of the highest quality - a bit pricey. Lots to eat so ensure you go there when feeling very hungry.

Turned up on a weekday at a price of £45 a head. Drinks are seperate, and a bit pricey- £17 for a cocktail, £10 for non-alcoholic versions, looking at steep central London/shard prices at those. Wine was a similar story. Service was polite efficient and friendly. The buffet had a great variety, mussels and seafood being very fresh, the sushi... More
