This place is almost exactly what you would expect from an indian. Decent choice in the menu, ok quality and service, average atmosphere/furnishings. Not quite as many complimentary sides as i am used to but the onion bhajis were of particularly good quality!

I think it must have been the Chefs night off!!!! Far from good. Duck dish was very dry, the Roti bread resembled a poppadom, rock hard and crispy. Shame!

We went here due to the 'certificate of excellence' from Tripadvisor which was displayed on the door. It was one of the worst Indian meals we've ever had. I barely touched mine as it tasted as if a bag of sugar had been thrown in. I didn't mind that the food wasn't well presented, if it tasted good. But the... More

We are here because the other Indian is being renovated. It looks like it should be good, bit is very average and disappointing. One member of staff has been brought in from London to sort out their issues, he was very good. However, other staff let him down with their shocking attitude and almost bad manors. The food was passable,... More

Staying in Lyndhurst for a mini break and fancied a curry. Very busy for a Tuesday weeknight and service was a little bit slow. But the food was very good and plenty of it, and good value for money. Friendly staff.

Restaurant busier than expected on a quiet midweek night. Service friendly as always with an Indian restaurant. However food was really good too. Nice thick sauces rather than the two pieces of chicken swimming in a sea of sauce that you so often get and flavoursome with many spices.

We only went to this one as the other Indian in the village was closed. I wish we had not bothered. We waited ages for an initial approach for drinks. The papadoms were the best part of the meal. We waited for 1hr 15 minutes for our food to arrive. When it did my butter nan bread was dry and... More

A very adequate selection of vegetarian dishes on offer at a very reasonable price; also Cobra/Kingfisher lagers available. Friendly and attentive staff.
