Decent beer, mixed opinions on the food, pie was nice, fish disappointing, steak ok. 3 meals came to around £50 not including the drinks. Large pub, lots of dogs. The service at the bar wasn't particularly warm and welcoming.

We had dinner in here on the last night of our holiday. I wish we had found it sooner as we would have probably gone again. The pub was lovely - decorated in a modern country style - with lots of nice little tables and a beer garden around the back. Dogs were welcome inside and out. Some of the... More

My wife and I only dropped in by chance for a drink. Just wanted a rest and sit outside before driving home as it had already been a long day. Excellent choice of beers and could have been tempted to try a few more. We looked at menu and were pursuaded to stay for dinner. The rotisserie chicken and the... More

Excellent food. Great service. Reasonably priced. Nice courtyard out the back nice on a summers evening and would imagine great in the winter with a fire

Lovely little pub with nice food and friendly service. Dog friendly (with free dog biscuits!) Outdoor seating at front (shady) and terrace at the back (sunny). Would recommend!

The food was worth the 30 minute wait at this busy pub off the busy high street. Arriving later in the lunch-time proceedings to enjoy a spot of lunch, the nutroast with veg was a winner, mouth-wateringly exceptional, much better offering than another Fullers pub down the road at Ashurst which provides the usual sunday carvery. Our prefered choice of... More

What more can I say than they stock an extensive range of Fullers beers!! Great little beer garden that was welcoming for kids, the food was presented very well.

Fantastic food :) children loved it too. Staff really friendly and the onion rings are delicious. 10 out of 10 Set in a nice little village, if staying in sandyballs (New Forrest) it's worth the drive down to have a nice meal with great service. Will definitely come back again 👌

Visited the Fox and Hounds several times during a long weekend in Lyndhurst. We have been there before and it is our favourite pub in the village. The pub has a lovely ambience and serves a good range of beer. This particular weekend there was a small beef festival planned with live music taking place all weekend, but unfortunately the...
