The meal was well cooked but was spoilt by the background music. We asked for it to be turned down and were told it was company policy to allow private conversations. It actually killed conversation

We had a wonderful dinner at the Oak Inn. The atmosphere was lovely; cosy tables with great lighting and very good service. The food was absolutely delicious - particularly enjoyed the roast partridge and cheese board. Pricing very good for quality of foodMore

After a walk in the New Forest we called into this pub for lunch. The weather was good so we sat outside with our dog. Excellent sandwiches although fairly pricey. Good service

Went for a lunch here. Food was disappointing, with the chips almost cold when they came out. Service was also poor, meaning we cut short our stay and skipped the coffees and sweets.
