Arrived on a Saturday evening to be advised there was no space for food. Managed to talk the team into serving us food in the beer garden, maybe that could have been offered to start with. Food was fine, although possibly a little over-priced. Good beer.

What a fantastic restaurant.. When we entered we were greeted by the lovely bar staff who welcomed us and took our drinks order... We were advised our table was ready but asked if we wanted to have our drinks before we proceeded to the table, we did and asked to be shown to the garden... The garden is lovely maintained... More

We stopped in for lunch with our dogs and we were all made very welcome. We had a lovely lunch, food was great and they had an excellent selection of beers.

Really busy evening but the service managed and the food is really fresh and tasty. The wine list is also varied and not too expensive. It's tucked away but worth hunting out and they also have rooms on site. Table reservations are needed. Staff did seem little stretched with amount of customers but remained friendly.

Made very welcome and children accommodated with suitable meals and high chairs. Lovely food, all was beautifully cooked and well presented - "a cut above".

We booked a table in the restaurant on Saturday evening for dinner. Upon entering the bar/restaurant we were asked if we would like to have a drink prior to being seated. We decided on two glasses of prosecco which we took with us when being seated at out table; a very nice quality prosecco. Our waitress and manageress were both... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the new 'upgraded' pub/restaurant over a weekend whilst visiting friends (refurbishment undertaken by the end of last year according to staff). We had first class service throughout our lunchtime stay, so friendly and professional for just beer/wine and sandwiches (with chips 😃)! My wife and I only come over to Hampshire 2 or 3 times... Visiting on a Saturday lunchtime there were a dozen or so people in the garden and two other people indoors. The bar service was indifferently and un-apologetically slow. We found and browsed a menu with what I can only describe as ambitious prices (£8 for a cheese sandwich? In a pub? Really?) only to be told there was a food... More

Eat here often but was disappointed with the service and the food last night, must have been a bad night as normally great service and food.
