First visit to the cafe, although have been to the gallery many times. Tried the soup, toasted sandwich and cakes and all were delicious. Not sure why the previous comments mention service issues as our service experience was great and the food was good value...More

Rum's Eg is a difficult place to rate. It is charming and often has interesting exhibitions alongside its regular, and attractive, arts and craft items. The cafe provides excellent cakes and reasonably good savouries but the choice is often fairly limited and coffee is only...More

The cafe upstairs at rum eggs is excellent. Small menu of toasties, soup, brunch and delicious cakes. Lovely locally run cafe surrounded by art.

The gallery was lovely but the staff did not have much knowledge of what they were selling and waited 45 minutes for a bowl of soup and no appology. Disapointing.
