Fantastic atmosphere. Proper comfortable feeling. Food was fantastic as was the service. Wish we found it earlier. Well worth visiting for drink or food.

We stopped here the other day for a roast after Paultons, it was AMAZING!! The roasts were huge and so tasty and the staff were lovely! The homemade puds are delish, try the sticky toffee pud or crumble!

This is a good pub/ restaurant with an extensive menu and always some interesting "specials". The bar area is large, comfortable, and dog-friendly. There is also a large garden with plenty of seating but not much in the way of pretty planting and no kids play area as far as I could see. (Considering the pub is situated adjacent to... More

Cannot say too much as only had a quick drink while waiting for family to join us visiting the Peppa Pig World. Although we did Only have a drink, the next table had a sharing platter that looked and smelt fantastic. Would love to go back and try their food. One other thing we tried was the toilets, well appointed... More

We have been here a few times but not for a few months so were pleased to find the food as good as we remembered it. The portions are a good size and the food is hot and tasty. Our only disappointment (and we overheard other customers also expressing their disappointment) was that they ran out of Eton Mess quite... More

I took my daughter here on her day off from work. We felt we both needed something different in a menu, must agree with another review on here, that some staff are quite robot in the way they are, lady behind bar was not tho.. Anyway, veggie faghita was great, and chicken burger great to, not the cheap chicken you... More

We popped in for a meal after visiting Peppa pig world. They were very accommodating as we hadn't booked and quickly provided a table and highchair for our toddler in the restaurant. The menu was varied and specials were also available. It was a little expensive but they used local produce which is always a positive. It was a lovely... More

This pub with rooms is basic accommodation with well worn well used furniture and bathrooms that could be replaced - BUT very clean, lovely towels, cotton bed linen but bad chose of decor colour and dark cheap room furniture. Staff are in two categories very good and rude. All the guys were fine the manageress was lovely but an older... More

We live local and have visited the Mortimer Arms on many occasions over the years and have always experienced a pleasant visit and wonderful food. Last visit was 18/9/16 for a birthday roast. There was 8 of us and every single person Inc a 6yr old thought the food was fab. It was piping hot and all fresh vegetables cooked... More

I really can't recommend this place enough and have eaten there a lot over the last few weeks. My grandad recently passed away and despite being teetotal decided to name it his local last year because the food is phenomenal. They have a huge selection to cater for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs which is rare. The food is cooked freshly... More
