Very french, but a bit expensive! We had lunch there and were going to return for dinner but found it to be too pricey!

The service was very slow and one young lady member of staff was very rude to my sister. On saying that we are ready to order we were not expecting to be told to 'speak to my colleague' In addition 4 of us ordered Hors D oeuvres only and the other 2 main courses only. We expected them all to... More

We went on a Tuesday night and chose from the bar menu. I had a prawn and avocado salad and my lovely date had tuna salad. We both agreed that the atmosphere was very conducive to having a good chat, even though there were a few big tables in. All in all, jolly good food but nothing above and beyond... More

Recently had lunch to celebrate a family birthday. Four of us enjoyed an excellent lunch Taking our choices from the a la carte and the daily specialities - all the courses were of high quality and the service was first class. Some recent staff changes seem to have changed the restaurant dynamic but none of us could fault our meals... More

This place had great potential. I have lived in the town for a number of years and said that i would visit. Saturday I did just that with my wife and 2 friends. The place was busy and we had to wait for a table (having booked) The service was slow although the waiter apologised as he was new. The... More

We have lived in Romsey quite a while and always wanted to try this place, friends visited at the weekend so in we went. Lovely ambience, looks very French. Ordered drinks, shown to table eventually and placed orders. Firstly when you hand the menus out, please advise what is currently "off" the menu. So a last minute search for a... More

Lovely restaurant which is very French and that is a real strength. food a bit disappointing. Starter of escargot was £12 and bread was an extra £1.50. That was annoying beccause the garlic butter source would be wasted without the bread and £12 seems quite a lot of money for a starter. The water was served without ice and the... More

We had been here several years ago but were prevailed upon by friends to go for dinner recently. The ambiance is decidedly French but the food was not what we had hoped it would be for the price. It was very busy and clearly there are those who enjoy it more than I did but I left thinking I could... More

We were staying in the village over night and spotted this place. It was really busy and the menu had a pretty traditional selection (no pretentious rubbish) so having the added bonus of being frenchie friendly made our mind up. My salad starter had a perfect French dressing and my partners fish was delish! The mains were of a good... More
