2 starters and 2 club sandwiches, 2 kids meals with desserts, soft drinks and a coffee £100. We were part of a large party and too much hassle to untangle the bill, but unless the other end of the table were on fillet steak and champagne (which I don't think they were) then we were ripped off.

So you've decided in you're infinite wisdom to LIBEL us with no basis or fact even though you admit the bill was never checked or queried, you don't know what other people in your party ate or paid so you immediately accuse us of rip off. It is unfortunate in this day and age that people like yourself feel that... More

I organised a get together for a dozen friends at the Crab and Anchor. From the moment I booked, the staff were friendly and helpful and I simply cannot fault the attentiveness of the staff to our needs throughout the evening. Our menu choices were very varied, some ordering from the Christmas menu, others from the normal menu, but everyone... More

Went here with my family to celebrate a birthday. The (light) lunch I wanted only appeared on the Monday-Friday menu which was disappointing. What an oldskool way of operating! Surely as a customer you can order what you want on the whole menu, like most places in 2016 AD? Good service, ok quality of food. Must admit i'm always cautious... More

I decided to come here while I was in Farnborough as I had heard a few good things about this place and I wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. Whether you will enjoy this place or not depends on what you are used to. If your experience of pub food is gastropubs, you're going to be... More

Love this place, once again were not disappointed. We visited on Sunday night - it was very busy however the service was good, food came out in a timely manner, Beef Wellington was, TO DIE FOR...

We had booked a big family Christmas dinner with 13 of us, the staff were attentive and quick, the food was superb as always, we were taken care of throughout the meal and despite being a large group and the restaurant being packed we did not have to wait long for the food or drinks.

Visited on a Wednesday and the place was packed....it gets even busier at the weekends as well apparantly so probably best to book. Nice welcome and friendly service. Food was good but not excellent so not up to 'gastropub' standards but no complaints for what we had.

We went here after the tills failed in our local hotel. The menu was wide and varied, as a vegan it gave me some choice which is not always the case. Staff were exceptional, police, cheerful and very attentive. Not the cheapest of meals but well worth the 'detour'

Lovely restaurant. We turned up on spec, having just booked into the premier inn around the corner. We ordered pork/fish/fajitas. All main courses were hot and tasty. My son had the fajitas (three LARGE pre wrapped). The desserts again were tasty and well presented. Would go back again if in the area.

I have visited this restaurant on many occasions over the last 3 years and thought it was time for a review. The food is constantly good and we always recognise the staff as they don't seem to keep changing them like other places. Big and great menu. There is something for everyone. Well worth a visit
