Friendly locals and great food. Steak was amazing and so were the chips that accompanied it. Well worth a visit if you find yourselves in Emsworth. Hidden gem!

This place is a gem of a pub. Beams and open fires. Views over boats the creak and duck ponds. The beers are well kept the staff are very friendly. We had two meals on a Saturday eavening and the food was very good, portions were just right unlike many places where they are determined to give you half a... More

I have looked at my husbands review and the response, his title is SHOCKING. Sad to say that the response is untrue and quite rude. The lady DID NOT ask why we didn't say something sooner at all. That is a blatant lie. The food was shocking. The chilli was swimming in water so I ate the chilli that had... More

My partner and I have recently moved to Emsworth and we now class this as our 'local' we have never been disappointed whether it was just drinks, enjoying their delicious variety of food or their fabulous entertainment of music on Sunday nights. The Garden is a right gem in the middle of Emsworth backing on to the water. The owners... More

I think the title speaks for itself, I'm amazed that people on here compliment the food, perhaps my wife and I had the wrong meals! The food really was shocking, I imagine that the kitchen consists of a row of microwaves as nothing that we ate had been cooked in the last 24 hours. The building is drab and cold... More

Thanks for your review. Your meal consisted of two jacket potato lunches. One was a sausage and onion jacket, the other a chilli and cheese jacket. The fillings on both jackets was eaten but admittedly not much of the potato was. You were asked by staff if everything was ok, to which you sir 'put your head down' so the... More

Do not visit the Raglan when there are people in there that the bar staff know. We were at the bar waiting to be served next when a woman walked up to the bar and was served straight away whilst speaking to the bar staff. Obviously, the bar staff are not taught how to notice when customers come in and... More

Have visited before on a few occasions but decided to write a review as this pub is consistently good for food, great tasty home Cooked fare and at a reasonable un inflated price, great warm and friendly traditional pub with open fire, lovely garden at the back with view over the water. There is no car park but is roadside... More

Description
The Lord Raglan is an 18th Century traditional pub, backing on to the Slipper Mill Pond and the River Ems. This lively pub is well known locally for its friendly atmosphere, great food and top notch real ale. There is an exciting selection of dishes to enjoy from bar snacks to three course meals - the sizzles and steak and mushroom pie are a must, very tasty. Weekends are very busy so it is well worth booking a table if you wish to eat. Sunday evening is live music night which is hugely popular and has a regular following and draws a friendly mixed crowd.
