We visited on 14th August, a week after the pub came under new management. They were able to accommodate a group of 14 at an hour and a half's notice for Sunday lunch, and even managed to rush through the food for the pregnant lady and two toddlers. Excellent service, much appreciated. Good Sunday roast, too!

The new management did a superb job this sunday. WE were 8 adults and 2 children, food and service was excellent. Lovely old pub, great gardens and good atmosphere...what more could you want.

I found this pub by chance whilst looking for somewhere to lunch. It is a Wadsworth establishment and their 6X beer was perfection, albeit at £3.75 a pint a little more than I am used to. It has a comfortable ambience - flagstone floors and low oak beams. My lunch(Wiltshire ham, eggs and chips) at £10.95 was excellent and served... More

The Old Bell & Crown is a picture postcard pub a few miles outside Andover, with a large car park, but do watch out for a few potholes. Inside it is quite spacious, and there is a well-kept garden with tables to the rear, although as it was raining when we went we stayed inside. The Old Bell functions as... More

We found this pub as we were out mooching the area. The food was quickly served and good home cooking. Lunch for two including 1 course 1 drink and 2 coffees £32. Greeted with a warm welcome on a cold and blustery June day. The pub is extremely tidy and well kept…We will be back as they have many stoves... More

My husband and I popped in for lunch today. Food and service very good, also glad to see they are dog friendly. Will be back when next in the area.

We booked for 6 for lunch. Positive points: The children's menu states they will try to cater for quirky children which they did by allowing my daughter to order one of the starters with chips as a main course. The starters were good - standard pub choices but we all enjoyed them. The desserts were also good although 3 of... More

Took my 87 year old nan here for a lunch time treat, very picturesque , we would have liked to have sat in the back garden but there are steps up to the garden that my nan wasn't able to climb as she uses a walking frame, there is table & chairs in the front garden so we sat there... More

We visited the pub on a beautiful sunny day. The beer garden was kept immaculate and the setting was truly idyllic. We only had a couple of the chicken and bacon ceasar salads but they were well presented and very tasty. Staff were very friendly. Looking forward to going back.
