We had a very good meal here, good choice on the menu, especially the starters. Good sized portions, and we were offered our puds in takeaway boxes as we couldn't manage them, and they were part of the fixed menu - what a treat!

Great food and great cosy little bar. It's a shame that the beers can be so expensive here but it seems the norm for around here with a pint of some of the lagers being £5. Would recommend!

This is a beautiful country pub that serves truly scrumptious food. I had the mussels and try as I might I just couldn't get to the bottom of the dish, the portions here are huge and just wonderful.

Excellent food and atmosphere in this lovely pub. We were staying next door at the Tudor Farmhouse so this was very handy. Staff friendly and we would recommend eating here. Do book in advance as they were fully booked on the Saturday night.

This pub is so good, wishes we lived nearer. Scott (who seems to work 24/7 and still be polite and smiley) and colleagues made us feel so welcome and even allowed us to have a snack by the bar as we were peckish rather than hungry. We had a sharing plate of olives, peppers, bread, balsamic vinegar and olive oil... More

We booked a table and ordered our food in advance and on arrival we're delighted with the traditional cosy pub with beams, open fire and a warm atmosphere. Our food was all served promptly and was fresh and hot - the pie had a lovely shortcrust lid and all portions were generous. The maltesers cheesecake was to die for with... More
