Although they do have a cheaper River menu, we went for the dearer option as it was a special celebration and it was certainly worth it. The Roasted Hake on samphire was divine followed by an assortment of elderflower desserts. This was proper grown-up food! Everything about the food was top class (service was slightly slow but you know you... More

This was I think our fourth visit here and we enjoyed another splendid, memorable meal: oysters to start, then a mackerel dish, a main course of pan fried hake and to conclude rhubarb and custard for me and lemon tart for my partner. Food was superbly cooked and presented and service also excellent. It is admittedly on the expensive side,... More

Last visited Old Passage Inn with business colleagues and I wanted to share with my wife. Well off the beaten track but beautiful location on the Severn. The restaurant has a lovely feel to it - nice artwork from local artists adorn the walls. Seafood is speciality - although Spring Lamb also shouted out from the menu. For starters I... More

I had never been here before Saturday. My parents took me for my birthday and have raved about it for sometime. I thought it was a great location, very secret as someone else put here and I will definately go again, but maybe just to walk along the river. The food was very good but not excellent. I feel I... A lovely setting, good value fish lunch, service and wine list. If you have a helicopter, then arrange to land in the field next door and pop in for lunch , a lovely way to see the River Severn and restaurant is through the gate.

This was a great experience. Just look at the map and you will see this is an unusual and atmospheric setting. Sit on the terrace sipping something fizzy while you look at the menu and wonder at the power of the Severn ebbing and flowing. Definitely a destination for lovers of fish and seafood, though there are some tempting meat... More

My daughter found this on the internet as she was looking for somewhere to take me for my birthday - knowing I was into high quality seafood. The restaurant was amazing, overlooking the River Severn. It was very well laid out with top of the range tables, chairs, cutlery, tableware etc which really made it special - and that was... More

An impromptu lunch today, which couldn't have been nicer! Lovely surrounding right by the riverside, guests arriving by helicopter! Friendly and helpful staff and owner, Sally, and the most beautiful fish lunch. We shared the fish starter platter, all of which was so tasty, and my whole brown crab fresh & salad was beautiful. All of us left so impressed... More

On Thursday May 12th my wife an I were treated to a lovely experience at The Old Passage Inn near Arlingham in Gloucestershire. This is a part of the county my wife and I had not visited before and we were enchanted as we approached the Inn by road through countryside that has probably remained unchanged for several centuries. When... More
