We ate here as a party of 4. Other people in my party ordered Sunday roasts and they enjoyed them, no issues there. I love fillet steak and as you can see from my other reviews, I eat it a lot. The price for the...More

Hi, I'm sorry to say I agree with you. This is not in character for the Queens Head, and I apologize. I hope this won't put you off visiting us again when you are next in the area. James

Stay nearby when on business, third time I eaten there, first review. The food is freshly prepared and cooked. I love fish and have had the Salmon Dish and the Prawn linguine and can recommend both. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

I have recently moved to the village and thought it only right that I visited for lunch, the food was delicious, very hot and I have to say that the chips were possibly the best I have ever tasted!

After visiting a local vineyard, we called here for our evening meal. Charming old pub, with loads of character. Quickly served with drinks & good meals by attentive staff.
