Ok not that one but a great tribute act.
This place is going from strength to strength. Incredibly high standard of food and presentation. We have been many times and the chef is first class. Although whoever prepares the baked camembert needs a little guidance,...More
Good selection of beers. The menu is a little limited but the food is excellent. There's a nice beer garden to sit out in and soak up the sun. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience, would recommend.

As we were due to attend a funeral nearby, we made a flying visit for lunch. Dont be misled by The Red Lion's modest decor; the food is fabulous. Good old pub grub, very generous portions and beautiful. We had fish & chips, the burger...More

Thank you for your question Brenda. I am glad that you saw a light and didn't miss us when you were passing. We have a sign up guiding people to our rear car park purely because I think many people do not know it is there and would also drive past thinking that there is no parking when the front is full. We are also aware that some people may struggle to walk into the pub when parking a long way from the door. We have disabled parking and ramps to make the pub as accessible as possible but sometimes this just isn't enough. We ask staff to park away from the doors so that these customers do not have to walk further to get past them. For future reference, we are open from 11am until 11pm every day. Please pop in and see us. I hope this answers your question
