The reason this place has long queues is because the locals know the fish is amazing with so much flavour! Try the pea “thingie”!!! You will thank me!

Having had a not so good fish supper from elsewhere the previous night, opted for a medium cod fish and chips. Cooked fresh with no oily taste it was very enjoyable, reasonable price and came with a slice of lemon.

Paid nearly £17 for a kids sausage and chips and a large fish and chips. Kids meal meant to get a toy and didn’t. Chips soggy and very greasy and batter so greasy we couldn’t eat it. No choice of sugar free drinks either
