Visited friends in Battle and decided to have breakfast in this quaint little tea room. There was a lovely log fire lit in the ingle nook and this made for a very comfy atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and the full English breakfast delicious. Will definitely visit again.

Great coffee, friendly staff a fantastic fry up with real sausage, black pud and bacon. Bustling atmosphere and interesting building. I would recommend you park in the main car park as the battle abbey one is a bit expensive. We will definitely come back to try the treacle tart and cakes!!

We enjoyed a lovely lunch here. Sat out the front, overlooking the Abbey. Great food. Reasonably priced. Beautifully laid out. Also extremely dog friendly; with water and treats.

Have now visited here a few times over the years. Wonderful full English breakfast and fantastic afternoon tea. Staff are very courteous and will go out of their way to satisfy special requests. A visit to Battle isn't complete without a visit to Mrs Burton's.

Delicious parsnip soup for lunch. Really good menu choices from Jacket potatoes to cream teas and very reasonably priced. Very lovely atmosphere and staff.

This is a lovely teashop and restaurant. I discovered it when I was staying at a local slimming retreat. I drove into Battle at the end of the first week feeling quite low and hungry. I went into a lovely parlour type room with a beautiful wood burning stove. I asked for a pot of hot water, it came in... More

The AMAZING staff made my visit. Food is awesome, proper English. They helped me with a take a way meal for my grandmother who is in a care home and longed for an English home cooked meal. Staff was so kind and friendly about it all, they really went above and beyond. If you are in Battle, please pay Mrs... More
