Good find, however, £2 for half a pint of milk for a 4 year old was too much, not offered a child portion for breakfast and the food was piled onto small plates. That said, all was cooked very well.

We decided to go for a cream tea and came across this small cafe/restaurant in high street to rear of shop. It looked like a pleasant spot and there were cream teas on the menu. We ordered and then waited for our tea to arrive. Once it arrived we were disappointed with the cream tea. The tea was fine but... More

I'm sorry you were dissatisfied with your cream tea Malcolm, if you had if made it clear to one of our waitresses we would of tried to remedy your dissatisfaction. We don't have or advertise our cream teas with clotted cream-a West Country tradition! We do however serve fresh, whipped cream which will would not of been runny or off... More

A delightful little place behind a sweet shop. Seemed very busy at lunchtime. Friendly staff and the meals looked and smelt good. We just had coffee and I had a tea cake.

Popped in for lunch as most other places were full. After having our meal we were glad that the other places were full! My wife had lamb chops and they turned up with mashed potato, 6 veggies and the extra gravy that she had requested. As far as we were concerned the staff were excellent and the time taken for... Always seemed busy at lunch time. We only ordered 'soup of the day' but had to wait nearly 20 minutes for it to arrive.

Squiers is a very quaint old-fashioned sweet shop in the Main Street of Southwold. However it also has a very cosy tearoom behind. The service was adequate but spoiled somewhat by female teenage staff who quite obviously, and perhaps understandably, looked as though they would much rather be just about anywhere else's! The very excellent scones with the cream tea... More

Only popped in for a cup of tea but got seduced by the cream tea on offer. 2 warm fruit scones each, served with butter, jam and whipped cream. We thoroughly enjoyed it and treated ourselves to some sweets from the huge selection in the shop as we left. You go through the sweet shop to get to the tea... More
