We stayed in Cavendish for a week and visited this coffee shop a few times . Good coffee , great cakes and friendly owner . Loved it . Upstairs was a great selection of handmade candles . Well worth a visit !
Quite taken back once walking inside, the tables are planted in between all the antiques! It's difficult to see where they all are. Unfortunately it was rather cold in there which made our tea get cold quickly & our toasted tea cake was very cold!...More
Just have a great lunch here but what's the best is the fantastic Christmas window display- with a little train as well! Cakes delicious, scones, spot on, warm with jam and clotted cream. Wife had a BLT! Brilliant! Three big slices of bacon! Nuff said....More

We dropped by this tea room last Summer and were quite disappointed. The service was sloppy and actually a comedy of errors. A slice of cake was exorbitantly priced which added insult to injury considering the cutlery wasn't very clean. Would we go back? No.
Not what you would really expect to find in a sleepy Suffolk village but the food is absolutely brilliant, if you are in the area or visit Long Melford or Sudbury for example, make a point to visit for tea, breakfast or lunch
