We had a very nice pint and a sandwich after our trip out to see the seals. Really nice looking, traditional pub in a handy spot.

Super evening meal at The Anchor. The staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. We liked the variety of the menu, the specials board also had some great options. I had the crab salad, it was great and well put together. The children's menu is well priced again with some variety. Save room for pud, the brûlée was spot on!

Visited today for lunch. Ordered fish and chips, very large tasty piece of cod, lot of batter but nice and crunchy. Thought perhaps the chips were coming in a separate bowl as I couldn't see them at first. Then I lifted the fish and found the chips hidden underneath - all NINE of them!!! I have never eaten fish and... More

We had a lovely meal here...nice little garden in the back and dog friendly which is great as we have two cocker spaniels with free doggy treats and plenty of water.

This was our second visit to the Anchor Inn, largely because the food there is very good. The service was a trifle on the surly side in spite of the place being very quiet. The prices are also a little on the high side. However, it must be admitted that the food is good and I can recommend the establishment... More

We returned to the Blakeney area for the second successive year and chose to eat at the Anchor on two out of our seven nights, unfortunately the popularity of the Anchor meant we could only get a table on one of our chosen nights. My tip would be to phone a book at least two days in advance. The Anchor... More

We had booked for the seal trip today and picked up tickets from the pub which all went well. However, you would have thought the pub would be a captive audience for the passing traffic for the tours. Well, how wrong was I. We arrived at bang on 3pm and the menu said sandwiches served until 3pm, the young barman... More

We were recommended to come here so we booked a table and after a hard days exploring we decided to come earlier than our booking time, no trouble at all they just set us up and it was all very smooth the choice of dishes is not huge, but that isnt a problem. I opted for Monkfish from the specials... More

A proper pub serving decent beer, great food and service by a team that don't change and are alway welcoming. Locally sourced ingredients, clever inspirational menus leave you with the difficult decisions on what to choose.....luckily we are only 15 mins away, so we return time and time again. Book early to avoid disappointment.....a business that is exceptionally well run... More
