We ate there the only night we stayed in Longyearbyen. It was very busy and seemed to be popular with the locals - always a good sign! We had pizza which was very good.

We went here three times during our trip in Svalbard. The food is really good. They serve good cocktails and plenty of choice on the menu. The place is well visited so it's better to make reservations.

Everything was good, drinks, food, service, place, etc. But this is the first time I'm coming because many other times it was not possible to get a table without reservation. I think you should change it, because tourists don't know they need to reserve a table in advance, and it's such a good place to eat and have fun, kind... More

Dinner was quite good for the price. Lunch was a disappointment. It is well situated in the center of Longerbyen.

We had lunch there twice in three days. Really good the food and we really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend it!

The plus: nice menu, heard the "klippfisk" and "pepper steak" are great, else they serve pizza and burger (like all other restaurants in the same price range). The interior is so interesting and cosy! The prices are very fair. The minus: better book a table, because they are very often fully booked by big groups. I encountered twice their Swedish... More

Kroa seems to be the place to be for lunch in Longyearbyen. The interior made to look like a trappers lodge is super cosy and they offer a nice selection of comfort foods. This is also probably a fun place to have a boozy dinner too... If you are staying at the Svalbard Hotel, I recommend it over the inhouse... More

We enjoyed each meal we had here, the atmosphere is cosy and the personnel is very friendly. Prices are bit high, but the quality of the food makes up for it.

The service was good and all the food was good appart from the burger which was horrible. It is somewhat pricey. As desert, the chocolate fondant is great.
