We visited this little Meze place in Pyrgos just yesterday. Starting from the atmosphere, it is absolutely lovely to enjoy some food while being surrounded by a fairytale greek island landscape. Now, talking about the food, we had a taste of three local dishes and a little dessert. Apart from being simply delicious, the quality of the ingredients was a top one. Fresh local vegetables, meat and a very strong and proud effort to be unique and persistent with this quality, thing that is definitely recognised by anybody who decides to visit this place. Prices are incredibly fair considering the circumstances we live in and the price increase of any other food place in touristic areas. We've really appreciated to eat such delicious food, conceived by a very proud and passionate business owner. Well done everybody! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED.

What a wonderful place! We had the most delicious lunch here with great hospitality too. Set in the beautiful central square of Pyrgos, Athmar has gorgeous views over the village and church that are not to be missed! The kind owner Evan was also so friendly, he went above and beyond to welcome us. Everything we ate was fantastic! The menu showcases high quality & local Tinian produce, creating Greek classics with a twist. And at really good prices too. We highly recommend the Tomato fritters. A place not to be missed, and we will be back!

We came here with great expectations but unfortunatelly the food was not something so exciting. The restaurant is on the main square of Pyrgos village. A great area right in front of a big tree and very traditional but very crowded.
The food that we tasted was not something so special apart from one dish and the traditional sweet. Two other meat dishes we could not finish them since there were not something so exciting and the pie we hardly taste it as it had a very bad taste. Prices were ok but the food which the major aspect was a total fail.

On the charming little square in the village of Pyros, a pretty little restaurant which offers inventive cuisine with quality products. The dishes are tasty and very nicely presented. The gentleman who served me explained his menu to me. We feel he is invested in his profession. He notably told me about a kariki cheese “raised” in a pumpkin which I tasted on my delicious chickpea salad

We ate 8 people, 4 adults and 4 children. The food was excellent. The revythia, the cocci, the osobukos and the crushed shakes we got were really delicious and special flavors all. Prices are reasonable for what we ate. It is also in a very nice place next to the square. Also the service excellent! Well, keep going like this.

We had the most delightful light lunch in this small, husband and wife run café, and were bowled over by so many aspects of the offering. So professional and yet so inviting. The food was perfect in creativity yet traditional too. The attention to detail was stunning, not just for us but for every diner. We couldn't have been made more welcome and would recommend this wonderful café to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed, I promise!

Pyrgos is an improbably picturesque village, made more delightful by its hub of delicious restaurants focussed around the widest tree trunk of an ancient Plane tree. Add to this setting, the spectacular food served up by Athmar, then you have the ingredients of an unforgettable evening! We tried the ground beef kebab and the local artichokes, full of flavour and simply presented, but the star of the show, was the homemade chocolate mousse that me and my daughter armed with two spoons fought over! Will definitely be back 🤗

The local relaxed atmosphere is the perfect place to enjoy exquisite fresh Greek food. Not only was the presentation of the food amazing the taste & flavours did not disappoint!!! The salad was fresh with juicy local produce used and the pork was ever so tender along with the tasty kebab & zuchini fritters!!
We could not fault this place as the service was also prompt & efficient. A must place to try when in Pyrgos nestled amongst a little πλατεία and local families enjoying the summer.

seconds after we sat down in the half empty Athmar the waiter showed up and asked us to move because he's expecting a group and needs the table - a four seats table when we were only two. So we moved to the next nice coffe shop - friendly , tasty and reasonable prices . One hour later - Athmar is still half empty .

This restaurant has the best view of the square and the amazing tree that stands in the middle. The owner was welcoming and friendly and it was not the usual menu. The food was cooked fresh and delicious, except the sausage but that's my taste, Rolf liked it.

Beautiful place, comfortable and with character using the lovely square in the best possible way. Wonderful creative menu. astonishingly delicious food and a staff I would tell to hire if I had a restaurant. The girls are amazing , really world class. Always attentive and helpful in spite of the stress of 2 people serving 60 ...Very fast service in all the parts of the meal (no chronic get my check problem) so this also has a positive effect on the quality of the ambiance with a very heterogeneous and lively . We were in Tinos 5 nights and 2 we had dinner here, tried other places but nothing compares to Athmar. Caution with the sweets, they are to die for.

Top notch amazing food, we loved this place, the setting, the food, the service. We have been warmly welcomed by Vangelis who advised us for the food choices.
