If you like GREAT "comfort food", great service, and good coffee, go to Mary's Kitchen. The Fetching Mrs. Rat and I were there the weekend before Memorial Day 2016. We stayed in the lodge/inn at Geneva-On-The-Lake S.P. (more on that in another review) Of the nine meals we had during our stay, eight of them were at Mary's Kitchen. Highlights:... More

My parents and I stopped at GOTL for the day and really wanted to eat by the water. It was the perfect day to be outside! It was past the tourist season and so a lot of places were closed. We stumbled across Mary's Kitchen. I asked the server if we could order our food to go and she said... More

We didn't eat here on our first trip, but did this time and it was great! Wonderful breakfast, great waitress! We ate at Marys Diner in Geneva the night before and dinner was delicious as well!

When visiting Geneva-on-the-Lake and looking to have breakfast, head just slightly off the "strip" and visit Mary's Kitchen. It's such a throwback to what diners used to be--nothing fancy, but great food and service! Everyone in our party had something different, and no one was disappointed. The omelets were huge and filled with all kinds of meats and cheeses. The... More

We love to come here as you dine right in the rooms of the house so you feel that homey atmosphere. We normally eat breakfast here and really enjoy it. Their portions are great and their food is good. This is on a side street but be sure to look for it. It is worth it and another of GOTL's... More

We always eat at Mary's when we are at Geneva on the Lake. Her food is basic and delicious. There is something for everyone on the menu.

We've been coming to Mary's Kitchen for over 20 years, and it doesn't change. You always get a delicious homemade breakfast with friendly, prompt service. The screened in porch is very quaint and refreshing on a cooler day. You can even catch a glimpse of the lake from the porch. Eating here is like going back to a simpler, quieter... More

Summer on the south shore of Lake Erie means delighting in Lake Erie perch, walleye, and bass eating. Up until last week, the best Lake Erie perch I had eaten was in my home state of Pennsylvania. Lunch at Mary's Kitchen changed that perspective. Perch isn't a big fish, so the breading used to prepare it is absolutely essential. Mary's... More

Established in 1950.

Started in the early 50's by Mary Ferritto, Mary's Kitchen was literally based out of her own private kitchen. Just down New St., Mary would make special meals and sell them to the hungry tourists frequenting Buckeye Beach when it was still a public beach. Surviving through the turmoil in the 70's, Mary's Kitchen is a testament to businesses in the district that providing good food at affordable prices is a sound business philosophy that will last for decades. Through almost 70 years, Mary's Kitchen has changed hands only a few times, and several of the "Daily Specials" are the same recipes that Mary developed in the 50's. The house that Mary built still stands today, with an add on commercial kitchen and additional dining space. It's truly history you need to experience first hand.
