I went there on the way to Morigaon for a business trip. Authentic traditional Assamese food. Love the taste and hospitality of the restaurant. The way they serve was good. The food is also not over priced. Ideal and I recommend for others to try.

I was surprised to see the menu of this restaurant as they are trying to provide its customers the flavour of north east. I liked their pork patot diya and duck curry with kumura. Although they are serving a lot of authentic dishes, only a few items will not match the taste of the original one rest is very good.... More

This place is a must visit if you're visiting Assam. They serve amazing fish cooked in Assamese style with a distinct sour flavour. Ambience is not good but the service is great.

Fabulous assamese food and great hospitality by the management. Took the time out to discuss the menu and ingredients. Served with great efficiency and care. Will recommend all to try during their visit to the city.

While they had some incredibly unique items in their menu (like black rice, fermented soya etc), the taste of the food was just average. They have got everything correct -- only need a better cook.

Wide range of regional cuisines and foods prepared in the traditional manner and served by friendly and knowledgable staff. The smoked sessame pork and the duck were fabulous. Will be coming back on my next visit.

Nothing much to say here, the food was awfully bland, nothing in the thalis that really made it stand apart from anything. The restaurant was dark and not well lit. The service was a bit quick though.

To one who has stayed in Assam for a while, there are no great surprises. There is a new branch of this restaurant at Six Mile, whose experience I narrate. 1. Maihang proclaims itself as a Northeast specialty restaurant. Only a couple of items in the menu are from elsewhere, the rest is Assamese. Surely the other 6 states of... More
