Whoever was cooking last night, you suck. I spent all day scrubbing down and preparing to open my own kitchen that i was forced to abandon in march. All I wanted was a good meal and not to have to work for it. The food...was terrible and took forever. Uncooked broccoli smashed into a soup cup with no seasoning or butter or olive oil or anything. very boring potato skins with burnt bacon and tasted like dirty fryer oil, cold unseasoned fries that also tasted like dirty fryer oil. Rubbery chicken parm with overcooked tasteless pasta, and "garlic bread" complete with little black burnt pieces of fresh garlic. Tired of going out to eat and being disappointed in this town.More

Monday evening after being on the road for a while we stop here for family dinner with our two young kids. Despite kids being cranky service was great. So kind and patient and very much appreciated. The menu has a really nice variety of options,...and even better very reasonably priced. The kids' menu is actually a bargain. I had open faced pot roast. Absolutely delicious and thankfully not lousy road food.More

On our way from Illinois to upstate NY we usually stay in Austinberg one night so we were looking for a new place to try for dinner. We saw reviews for Mary's Diner and are so glad we tried it. The service was fast and...the Lake Perch sandwich was delicious. Prices were very reasonable I loved the diner decor. It was set up for social distancing as required. We will definitely go back. Maybe next time for breakfast!More

Wonderful place for a home-cooked breakfast. Serve was fast and friendly at a great price. We ended up eating their daily during our entire stay in the area.

Picked up two pieces of coconut cream pie to go for Mother’s Day dessert. I am HUGELY disappointed! Their coconut cream pie used to be homemade, the pieces were huge, and it was delicious. Sadly, this is no longer the case. The graham cracker crust...was soggy, the pieces were tiny, and it was obviously no homemade. They charged $3.99 per piece! I’m not sure when the change took place, but I will not be ordering here any more. It saddens me because this is a long-standing local business and the people are great. The food just hasn’t been up to snuff for me lately.More

If you like food, diners, and diner food...this place is for you. Looks just like a 50's diner inside with a lot of Coca Cola memorabilia. The first time my husband and I came here the waitress came over and asked us what we would...like to drink. Like an idiot, I asked her if they had Coke. She said yes. The food was delicious and we have been coming back ever since. The owner is a great guy who comes around and greets every table. You can't please people all of the time, but we have been pleased every timeMore

Our group of six visited from NC for NCAA D2 Swimming Championship. We do not have a huge budget, but we do have huge appetites. I googled family friendly as we have learned we can get a variety of options to suit any appetites and...still not hurt our budget. Mary’s Diner popped up and did not disappoint. The sight of locals dining there was encouraging, and we found the 50’s theme fun after our Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tour the previous day. We had a very friendly and accommodating waitress. Two of our hungry swimmers enjoyed the Alfredo, one got fish, one got a chicken wrap, and two of us got breakfast. We all enjoyed our food and told the manager we would return. As we left, we discovered another group of swimmers were there for their second visit in two days. They, like us, found the food and service very good and reasonably priced for what we got. We live breakfast all day spots and comfort food from a hometown diner. Mary’s fit the bill!More

Love this place! We always come here during A10s. It is a true home town dinner. The food is always good.
