We stopped for dinner. Food was average. The outside looks nice but the inside needed cleaned & updated. Service was very good.

Hubby and I came here with my brother and SIL to celebrate our birthdays (SIL). We were immediately seated and since we had never been here before we asked if we could taste a couple of different wines before buying a bottle. A taste was...50 cents a shot, which we thought was reasonable. After a few we decided on 2 different bottles. Then our meals were ordered. They came in a timely fashion, and we're delicious. Our server was very friendly and efficient. The place has a rustic feel to it and it was worth the drive. We will be back.More
We were visiting the area for the day and so happy we found this place! We sat outside, it was so relaxing and the food was delicious. They have berry wine and various other wines from the region (this is a wine country, who knew?...). They make "slushies" with wine and they are delicious and refreshing on a warm day. The server told us they make the wine locally and you could buy it bottled from them. Service was prompt even in these times when places are short staffed. Would recommend.More
While we have driven by several times (with the parking lot normally full of cars) we finally stopped by for dinner and the only sorrow we have is we didn't do this earlier. The hostess immediately seated us and produced menus along with a wine...list. They also have a nice selection of beer. We ordered crab cakes and half slab of ribs with side order of fries. The crowd appeared to be regular and had no problems sharing their own favorites for our future visit. The crab cakes were delicious with plenty of crab meat and my ribs were fall off the bone tender with a very good BBQ sauce. Fries were nice and crispy outside and soft inside. Beside traditional food they also had some interesting items including a Priorgi Pizza that some had tried and said was very good. The have a decent wine selection and we tried a Cagua White and an Chamberlain Red. The White was dry and not grapey as you sometimes get with the Niagra and the Red was dry and just a little sweet. All in all a very enjoyable time and will definitely be out the again in the near future.More
Thanks so much! We hope to see you agian, sometime soon!
Excellent and fun as always ! Good service and fantastic food and wine ! We had the nachos with summer berry wine. A new favorite of mine ! Gyros and chicken salad ! We sat outside ! So worth the drive !
When my high school class reunion was postponed until next year, we decided to go to Geneva for a few nights anyway. One of my classmates arranged to meet at the Old Mill Winery at 3 PM on a Saturday afternoon. It ended up that...there were 22 of us. The staff had provdied an area outside where tables with umbrellas were pushed together. We stayed serveral hours visiting, drinking, and eating - staff was attentive the whole time - food was exceptional - and we had a great time. We also collected extra tips for the extra service. We will definitely return to Old Mill next time we're in the area.More
Thank you so much! Glad you had a good time, hope to see you agian!!
We loved everything about Old Mill Winery. The staff is top-notch, and the food -- Oh! My! Gosh! We were in heaven. We got the cheese platter, the bacon, chicken pizza, and the garlic chicken pasta. The atmosphere is wonderful, and we could have just...sat there for hours. There's just something about Geneva, in general, that makes us want to go back. Everyone is so nice.More
Thank you!! Hope to see you again! Cheers
Very busy on a Tuesday night. Ate inside. Loved the mussels, but only 2 small pieces of garlic bread. Asked for another slice of bread (to sop up the great sauce) and received 2 small pieces but was charged an exorbitant $1 for the tiny...pieces. Taco salad was good.More
Thank you! We will work on larger slices..hope to see you agian!
My fiancé and I Recently had dinner at the winery. The atmosphere, food and drinks were fantastic! Especially the wine slushees! The absolute best. It is obvious that every employee works hard and gives their best. It shows in the food and service.
Wow! I'm so happy that you notice this! We all do really try hard to make everything go smoothly and that everyone is happy! Thank you so much, hope to see you again!
This is a great place to check out local wines. Brookewas great!! She helped us pick out our favorites. Great wines and ciders.
Never have I ever have been to an establishment that has treated me so poorly. My group of 8 went to the front and asked if there was any availability at the restaurant. The hostess claimed that we were not able to sit all 8...together but they had two tables of four, one inside and one outside and we were totally fine with that. Then my group and I were having a conversation that was a bit loud and then after they said those two tables were available, suddenly one disappeared, and then a minute later suddenly they had no tables with no one in front of us. Don’t know if they just didn’t want to serve us or what but worst customer service i have ever experienced. There were no solutions just a sorry can’t serve you, not even a wait time or anything. I then called the restaurant and tried to speak to a manager on Saturday night August 16th, 2020, which is when we tried to get a table. Before a I could even get a word out, the manager was already snarky and rude as ever not even hearing out my situation. I couldn’t even get two words out before she started playing the blame game. She claimed I was in the wrong when I didn’t even have time to speak or express my concerns, which made absolutely no sense. Never will I ever return to this horrid restaurant. I have already heard so many horrible things about this place but wanted to give it a chance, now that I know, don’t even bother with this place. Learn how to treat customers right if your ever gonna stay in business. Wish I could give 0/5 stars.More
Was very busy and covid 19 restrictions making all the empty tables and causing long lines is no ones fault, just a shame, I think we could have had a better time without all that, once we were seated we still had about a 10...min delay before anyone came to our table, the wine and the wine slushy my wife and I had were ok, just nothing super special, food was average but definitely choices, pricing was reasonable compared to some of the other wineries we’ve visited in the area, it was a convenient location being right in townMore
Food is excellent here, we go on Sundays for the $2.99 spaghetti, and on occasion the Wine Burger! Our fave bartender, John, makes our night! He's hilarious - and the bands that play on weeknights/weekends are always awesome (Stone River Band and Lost Sheep are...two faves). On Sundays is open Mic, which has had some incredible moments! We're really not sweet wine drinkers - but we ARE here! lol! Try the Grindstone Red (Concord) or Grindstone Pink (Catabwa) with pretty much anything they serve. We absolutely LOVE LOVE L O V E our evenings here. It's our home away from home.More
Thanks alot!! We really appreciate you! We love john the bartender, we will tell him. Cheers, hope to see you soon!
Went to have dinner with Family. Service was good, wine was good, food was good until.... My daughter ordered cake for dessert. She started eating it and behold 3 to 5 hairs embedded in the frosting and they were not short hair. Never again. They...took the cost of the cake off the bill. Put a review on maps and they removed it. Not good.More
We did not remove that review, it's actually impossible to take a review off, although on that review it was one long hair, now its 3 to 5 hairs..?. I'm sorry this happened to you. But noone would have done that on purpose!! We took...More
