Went to hear Alex Bevan, loved the sunset view. Right on the lake. Our waiter, Cam, was friendly and attentive. While they were out of many entrees, the perch platter was great. Tables on the patio were separated appropriately. Ample parking. Go for the lake...view - enjoy a drink and some food - don’t expect gourmet. That’s not why you are going.More

Never in my life have I seen or heard of a restaurant owner telling an entire group to "F*** Off." Now here is the story, eight of us girls were going out to a nice dinner to celebrate a bachelorette party. We had a reservation...at 7:30pm, we arrived at 7pm as to not be late for our reservation. We were told which table was reserved for our party and eagerly sat down enjoying the view. After 15 minutes, and some help from fellow patrons, someone finally came over to tell us they were short staffed and they would send someone over ASAP, we all said it was fine as we were early for our reservation anyways and politely asked if we could have some waters while we waited. However another 15 minutes goes past without service, one of the girls in our party went inside and asked if we could have those waters for our table, about 5 minutes later our waiter comes by to take our drink orders, without waters. We laughed amongst ourselves at the lack of water and continued waiting and enjoying the sunset, even snapping some photos. Another 15 or 20 minutes go pass without any sign of our drinks, one of us went inside to inquire if the order was placed, the bartender was snippy and said " I will get to it when I get to it" she was to busy being rude to other customers to worry about doing her job, obviously. Our waiter came back out quickly after and apologized for the attitude and behavior of the bartender, we assured him it was not his fault. He took our food and appetizer order and reminded us how short staffed they were. Another 15 minutes goes passed and all but one of our drinks had arrived at our table, we let our waiter know we are still missing a drink and informed him what drink it was. He politely apologized and went back inside to retrieve the drink. Five minutes pass by and he arrives at our table with the wrong drink the member of our group for whom the drink was ordered by informed the waiter it was not what she had ordered. Our waiter trembling tells our table he informed the bartender that the drink was not correct and she told him to tell us to " F*** Off." At this point furious two of the girls go inside to confront the rude and out of line bartender where she threatened us and we all agreed to pay for our one drink a piece, thankfully they didn't put the order in for our food. A man who worked at the restaurant came out to apologize (with the bartender standing by him), we told him what she had said to us, upon which she yelled "yeah i did tell you to F*** Off" this was in front of the ENTIRE patio of customers! We were all so embarrassed of her behavior. We all shuffled out of the table and left. As we left we had patrons apologizing to us saying we did nothing wrong and they had been waiting for an hour and a half to receive their own food. The moral of the story is NEVER GO HERE!!More

First time we used this restaurant, very sweet and competent wait staff and wonderful food, but if you are Republican please don’t go there. The CO-owner Lois will tell all the customers that Trump and all his supporters are worthless pieces of 🤬🤬. She is...the worst human being I have ever experienced in 55 years of going to restaurants all over the world. She also runs a sweatshop. She has 13 year old children working there for hours and hours without breaks. I will file a report with the Labor Board immediately.More

We came here because it was close to the place we were visiting and a nice location on the lake. The waitress said they do have some available tables outside even though they prefer reservations . This does not seem like a place that would...require reservations ... we placed our order and I needed to use the bathroom, without even thinking I went inside to use the facilities . I came out of the bathroom and was walking straight through restaurant to get back to my seat outside, and some lady behind me is yelling “HEY YOU! YES YOU! STOP!! “ I turn around thinking what the heck is this person yelling at? I turn around rather dumbfounded and this crazy eyed older lady is yelling at me “I AM THE OWNER AND IF YOU DONT STOP RIGHT THERE I WILL KICK YOU OUT!” She’s like where is your mask? You weren’t seated without a mask! I said yes we were seated without a mask we are sitting outside which is where I am trying to be! She’s yelling “who’s your waitress? I’m going to yell at her for seating you without a mask ! She said you are not taking another step till you get a mask on! So she made me stand there waiting for the bartender to give me mask and said that will be $1. I had no money on me my purse was outside . Some man at the bar threw a $1 dollar down for me so I could get away from this crazy woman. I understand these are trying times right now but this was an honest mistake on my part. Minutes later “the owner” came outside, sat down took her mask off overheard her say she had a few drinks and was feeling pretty good and lit a cigarette. Really? The food was mediocre and service was incredibly slow. In hindsight, we should have just left before we got the food. How I wish we would have !More

Very strict mask protocol, yet owner was wearing mask around her CHIN, while working behind the bar serving patrons. This isn't the first instance of an employee with a mask below their nose and/or mouth demanding patrons wear masks while eating. Please don't tell me...to come to your establishment with plenty of seating inside when I call ahead and then turn me away after I drove 20 minutes to get there. I find it very hard to eat food with a mask over my mouth. Common protocol in Ohio is that if you are seated at your table with distance between others, there is no reason for a mask. This business picks and chooses who they want to serve and how they will treat them. Then the owner has the audacity to argue after the fact regarding how we were treated. I would rather go to McDonalds to be honest.More

First the positives: Location: views of Lake are stunning. Live outdoor entertainment was very enjoyable. Disappointing: Even with a reservation, the service was horrible. It took aver 30 minutes to get a cocktail, another 20 minutes for our appetizer. Another 20 minutes or more and...we were still waiting for our salads. At that point, we asked for our bill since there was no sign of our food order. One final comment: the owner of this establishment wears political T-shirts concerning the upcoming Presidential election. Highly inappropriate, in my opinion.More

In this time of 6 feet of separation, and tense existence , it wonderful to sit back and ''mellow out" with a panoramic view of Lake Erie, a nice drink and be with other like minded persons at separated patio tables . The vibe is...like the t v show "Cheers". In fairness, the menu is bar food with young servers that aim to please and secede. If you want fancy food and a a tie and jacket aura, go to Cleveland. My bride and I spent almost three hours and went home satisfied.More

We are from Huntsburg / Middlefield Ohio area and had a Real Estate sign to put up at one of my wife's listings out in Madison. We wanted to stop for dinner while out as it was a beautiful night and were heading to Geneva...to find a restaurant with an outdoor patio when my wife said pull in here this looks like a cute place. We walked in a met the owner and her sweet dog and then went out and sat right by the water on a picnic table, drinks were good and the Frog Leg appetizer was outstanding! My wife had the sampler platter and I ordered the Perch platter - and both dinners were delicious and well prepared. Best Onion rings I have had in many years! The weather was absolutely stunning and the 2 man band was very good and not too loud. On the way out we met the owner (husband) taking their dog for a walk and we talked to him for a while - what nice people! We will definitely be back !More
