Fun local place wait staff is freindly and attentive. they forgot or tables appetizer and just went straight to the mains, acted like an app was a new invention when i asked about it. Other than that this is a great local place pretty sure...or issue was an isolated incident. would still recommend.More

This was one of the worst meals I ever had. The schnitzel was totally dried out could barely cut it with a knife, potato salad was bad, snippy waitress.

You most certainly can't go wrong dining at the Garrison Restaraunt in historic downtown Fremont, Ohio, The atmosphere is what you'd expect from an upscale restaurant with very affordable prices and a menu to suit any pallet. A lot of the food is locally sourced...and prepared and presented by professional staff who are passionate about providing an excellent dining experience.More

I'd say if you offer steaks at least learn how to prepare them. My friends steak wasn't right after second time cooking it.

We took a friend and his son here while they were in from out of town! The decor and service was amazing..... but as far as the food, let’s just say beyond unsatisfactory! When ordering a Ceasar salad, one would think it would be a...traditional Ceasar, with Romaine (not Arcadian Greens) also came with NO Parmesan cheese. We ordered a bowl of French Onion soup (as advertised in a “colossal onion) when being served it was in a bowl, and after asking was told “with Covid we can’t get them”... then thinking maybe that should have been disclosed before ordering (as that was half the fun of it) then 3 out of the 4 of us ordered NY Strip, ALL which had to be sent back for being undercooked..... one after returning back to the table was still undercooked, which i the. Told the server I would take it home and finish it myself (as I was not sending back a steak for a second time) needless to the manager never stopped by the table to apologize or ask if there was anything that could be done! But when your of 4 is eating 3 steaks that are not cheap and ALL 3 are wrong, that’s not okay! Won’t be recommending this place to anyone!More

We were celebrating and chose to eat here with a group of 6. The waitstaff were very friendly, though if you are concerned about Covid, be aware that many of them were not wearing their masks over their noses. Our food was decent. Some was...very good, some just okay. I did not personally have the bread pudding, but was told that was the best by other group members. I really liked the decor style, modern with maybe a little industrial or something. Overall, would definitely eat here again, if in town!More

Excellent beef brisket meal with coleslaw and I swapped crunchy potatoes for veg of the day. Also good American burger with yummy homemade potato chips. The ambiance is nice, unique and cool with plenty of space between tables. Server was good with mask, but I...saw someone with a backwards cap and chewing on something in the kitchen not wearing mask, and management didn’t seem to need it when talking to staff, which is frightening.More

Stopped in for lunch and was greeted immediately with smiles. We sat at the bar and Janie, the bartender, took care of us. She always remembers what we like and is very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend visiting. You won’t be disappointed.

Good food, attentive helpful service, mediocre ambiance during our late afternoon stop for a late lunch after our tour of the Hayes Home and Museum. We had the Club Sandwich and the Salmon Salad, both were very good. This place is on a side street...off the main Front Street.More

I can tell you that no matter where you went on Mother's Day it was crowded and you had to wait. I don't know what your problem was but from my experience we have told our waitress if there was ever a concern and it was... More
