Me and the wife stopped in to have lunch and was thoroughly impressed with the service with the food with the atmosphere. We will definitely come back for breakfast on a weekend. They also serve cocktails and have local craft beer. And we only live...about six miles awayMore
I'm originally from the SW Ohio area and honestly had never heard of Farmersville, OH, let alone this great café/restaurant. An excellent breakfast and lunch menu is presented with everything one could want, all homemade. Super friendly servers and hospitable locals who also spoke with...us. We drove from Middletown, through Germantown, to Farmersville and would recommend others do the same on a morning or afternoon and check out this place for yourself. Great job, Center Street Café!More
After hearing many great raves, we decided to visit this hidden gem in the sleepy village of Farmersville. The restaurant was busy when we arrived (Father's Day) but we were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant was cute and clean, the waitress was friendly and...attentive. Unfortunately we waited over an hour for our breakfast and watched others who arrived after us being served. When our food arrived, it was cold but delicious. Condiments on the tables were empty but the water and the coffee cups were always full. It was apparent that they were not ready for the huge amount of business they experienced that day and we will give them another try. Definitely try the Eggs Benedict with the greens! The dressing on the salad and the creamy smoked Gouda sauce were wonderful!.More
Visiting friends in the area and stopped into Center Street Cafe -- and so glad we did!! We wanted to try everything on the menu so we ordered a lot more than we could eat, but everything we ordered was awesome! I was really in...the mood for eggs benedict and they were done perfectly. That was the most normal thing on the menu. We ordered poutine for the table -- excellent -- different than the usual, but really good. My husband had the monte cristo -- which was not the greasy fried sandwich I've had before. It's basically a french toast sandwich and was very good. Another in our group had crab cake waffles -- crab cakes made in a waffle iron. Who would've thunk, but it really works! The last in our group had the bbq mac and cheese which was really tasty and worth taking the leftovers home! For sure if you're in the area, it's awesome eating. If you're not in the area, it's worth the drive. You won't find this menu anywhere else!More
Loved the menu perfectly cooked eggs Benedict! I ate an English muffin from my wife’s plate .... not store bought ! These were made fresh!
I will gladly go back and support this place. They are doing it right ! Way to go !!!
