My mother and I visit the restaurant a few times a month. On our last visit we asked to take our left overs home. A couple minutes later a woman came running over and sternly saying we have to pay for those containers! I'm sure...we are not the only ones wanting to take our left overs home. Ruined our lunch and experience. I suppose they would prefer we found another restaurant? Too bad as we like their food. Hopefully it was an isolated incident.More

Terrible food. Burnt chicken. Over cooked beef and vegetables. Tasteless crab Rangoon and egg rolls. Sesame chicken was like beef jerky. What a waste of money. Never again.

Hardly anyone there, which concerned me, but our food was hot and good. Flavor was different somehow, but good. Had hot and sour soup with our meal and we both found it very good. Will go again...

Don't let the name fool you they also server Vietnamese Pho, you just have to ask for the menu. This is a family run business. Our waitress was curious and helpful and took the time to chat with us. We ordered a couple of appetizers...and my wife and I each ordered Pho. Wow! each serving was enough for at least two, and it was good. Extra ingredients come on the side so you can make it to your liking. If you like spicy ask for the pepper oil but be careful because it is hot!More

CHINA PALACE -Englewood, OH — As a first time guest, I was extremely disappointed. After getting home (less then 5 minutes from the restaurant) to my surprise my crab Rangoon and calamari were cold. The calamari had a soft soggy breading that had no crunch...whatsoever, instead it almost melted in my mouth🤢 with a very airy taste with absolutely no flavor. I also ordered fried rice and ended up with white. Although I was not happy I POLITELY called to express my concerns in hopes of them caring enough to make things right to ensure my patronage again. Instead on the other end of the phone was the same girl who nicely took my order in person had now turned very nasty and condescending. After breathing very loudly she annoyedly asks, “what do you want time to do!?” Feeling overly appalled at this time I asked her if I was bothering her and she replied, “WHAT I CANT BREATH?!!” I have received terrible customer service in life but have NEVER been disrespected enough to prompt me to write a review!! MY MONEY SPENDS EVERYWHERE, but will NEVER be there again!! DO NOT GO HERE, you will be sorry- the food and service were AWFUL! *Please note!!! Since I posted this very same review on their Facebook page yesterday a very immature staff member (1 of the 2 I spoke with during my complaint) has gone as far as replying to a post on my personal Facebook page with laughter. This poor company will never survive if this is how they allow guests to be treated. NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE.More

I’ve been going here for years and always had good food. I love the egg foo young. This used to be the only local place that made it right. I’ve had it twice under the new owners and it is horrible. Other food might be...good. I don’t know and won’t be back. Very disappointing.More

For the 4 Chinese restaurants in Englewood this by far seems to be the best. The restaurant is underappreciated and really deserves more customers.

When we visit family in Englewood we almost always order out from China Palace. The restaurant itself seems like it is never busy but there is always a decent take out business. The ambiance is that of a tired and dated Chinese restaurant. The food...is prepared and packaged well. For sure it is not gourmet Chinese but it is great for Chinese take-out and an evening meal at home. The people who run it are extremely friendly and always trying to please.More
