The restaurant itself is very quaint. Loved the atmosphere. I ordered the short rib and pimento mac and cheese. The short rib was good, great flavor. The mac and cheese hardly had any cheese at all. I was very disappointed. It was $20.00 and I didn't eat much of it at all. The beer was 1/2 price which was great.... More

Loving sitting outside and enjoying my delicious meal. Be sure to try the shrimp and grits. Super yummy!! And the bread pudding is superb. And my excellent waiter has been attentive and helpful. I will return!

Friends told us of this place, and we were floored at the wonderful food, service and reasonableness of the costs. We were there on a Tuesday night, and there is happy hour all night long Monday through Thursday. The well drinks, normally $4 were half price, as were the beers. I've never seen that anywhere! The food was wonderful, although... More

If you like a diverse menu, access to a full bar and broad wine options, and a comfortable, friendly environment... then this is the place for you. The food quality is excellent, the service is personable and attentive, and the atmosphere is just plain comfortable. We went there for an anniversary celebration, and it was perfect. It is just off... More

Recently had dinner at 1808 Bistro. The evening started out nice as we were a little early but seated right away. We ordered our drinks and they made one special for us that was not on the menu. The drinks were served and we were asked if we wanted to order our meal, declining we ordered an appetizer to start.... More

We tried 1808. (I had been there before, wasn't too impressed) we sat in the bar area. Loved this atmosphere. Food was fresh and different. We had appetizer, pasta and dessert. The dessert was recommended and didn't disappoint mmmm yum! We will be going back!

Really solid menu. They gave seasonal items that are to die for! Awesome beer selection. Good portion size. Friendly wait staff. It's not the Ritz, but I feel it's the best Delaware has to offer. Always look forward to going back!

Great service, great food, great drinks. The Woodford Manhattan alone is worth going for. 48 hour short ribs are superb. And the beignets for dessert dipped in espresso with whipped cream melt in your mouth. Worth the short drive from Columbus!

It is always fun to go to 1808 because the staff is fun and most willing to share their insights about the menu. We often find the appetizers far more interesting than the entre menu. On our last visit we had salad of shaved asparagus with a 64 degree egg and a very nice hollandaise. Calamari lightly fried with goat... More
