Maybe we assumed it was something it was not, but I have not been unable to communicate with my date (wife) at what I thought was a "fine dining" establishment in years. Maybe it was a one-off and due to the holidays? However, the length of the 2 diner tables is so great it was hard to hear even when... More

This is my top choice for fine dining in Delaware. Great steaks. A nice place for families and small groups up to 12 or so as you can sit together and maintain a sense of intimacy. They are BUSY most evenings so plan ahead.

There are plenty of seats but for interesting discussions with staff sit at the bar. Food is unique and excellent. Talk to staff to find that just right drink. They even have great desserts. Try the beignets!

Great atmosphere. Great beer (50+) and drink menu. Food and sides paired perfectly. Salads are large. And starters are must. Enjoy

Solid place to eat. It is upscale, but not pretentious. The food and drinks were reasonable, not cheap, but very good.

We have been to this restaurant several times and have always been very satisfied. My personal favorite is the steak selection-many to choose from and all great. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic with fantastic service and seasonal trimmings. The wait staff has always been very attentive and interested in our celebratory reasons. We love this place and will continue... More

We went in at 4:30pm and they open at 4pm. There were some people that just stared at us at the bar as we waited to be seated as that is what the sign said to do. We waited 20 mins with no one seating us or interacting with us. Again terrible service. Would not recommend to anyone.

I wasn't even aware that there was a brunch served at 1808 despite the fact that I live about six blocks away. I ate on the patio which was generally pleasant, although it could use some cleaning. The breakfast was excellent. I ordered the breakfast plate for $10. It had bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuit, and a "country potato." All were... More

I started of with their 1808 salad....very good. For dinner I had their special of the weekend....fresh Lake Erie Perch dusted in cornflower... these filets were the best tasting perch!!!!... More
