Bummed to hear this joint closed. It was a great bar for drinks & snacks…Next time I'm in Columbus I will definitely check out some of their other establishments.

We ordered a couple drinks and the frito pie. The frito pie was basically nachos with fritos. My friends had the twirlers and said it didn't really have any alcohol, pretty much it was just juice. They did have a wide variety of craft beers and was reasonably priced.

Been to Surly Girl a few times and always have a good experience. Most recently with friends and since the weather was finally decent we wanted to get out and roam the Short North. Surly Girl is a different twist on comfort food-definitely check out the cajun meatloaf, Surly Girl pizza, and Frito Pie! Good selection of craft beers and... More

The decor is a hoot. The food was delicious. Try the Cajun meatloaf. not a lot of filler, just a great flavor. Nice variety of craft beers. All reasonably priced.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon with my wife for a beverage and an appetizer. Service was OK. There were just a couple of others there. so they weren't very busy. We ordered one beer and their chili con queso. It is served with fritos and tortilla chips. The chips were bland and the chili con queso was just ok.... More

The food was good, not the best in the Short North, but definitely a good meal. Service was a bit slow for a night that wasn't that busy. Servers were friendly and did make suggestions from the menu. I would go back in the future.

I have a list of places I want to go to in Columbus and Surly Girl was at the very top of the list. I say was because after my visit I will never go there again. I met a friend for a couple of drinks there one Saturday night and it was a seriously bad experience. First of all... More

One of my fave places to stop when in C-bus. I think everything Ive ever had here was good. My current fave is the bandito burrito. Everything about this burrito is perfect. And must try the posole stew. And oh yeah their creative mix drinks are great too. Cant go wrong here.

Such a cool vibe! The restaurant's theme is western, pirate women with a dash of hipster. Menu ranges from comfort foods to mexican and everything in between. The creamed chicken over biscuits was delicious and belly-warming. Great drink menu, too. Fun date night.

We went to Surly Girl for our anniversary. We wanted to go somewhere different but not too pricey. Surly Girl is in the Short North and has a New Orleans theme. The service was great and the food was too. We went early around 5:30, we had the place almost to ourselves. The menu has a good variety to choose... More
