First time to visit, tried the barbecue ribs grilled lamb and oxtail. All meals were taken to go with my wife at home. We both enjoyed all three. Had sides of plantain cabbage, beans and rice, greens mac and cheese all were excellent. Everything had nice flavoring and a bit of spice to it. Will definitely go back. Sorry I didn't take pictures too busy eating.

Hello advisers, I'm new to the Columbus area and I have to say after a month being here I am feeling this city. Ena's Caribbean kitchen not so much. The service is deplorable. The lady taking the orders on the walk in side was down right mean. I moved here from Denver, CO and I have never been treated with such open disrespect from a service person. I think she must own the place because that is the only way she could be working in customer service. She actually told me "don't move" then handed me the receipt to sign and never said thank you when she took the signed receipt. No smile not even an attempt to thank me for driving to here place of business and spending my money. She acted as if she was doing me a favor. Well I'm doing everyone on this site a favor writing this review. Then my daughter was trying to ask about how spicy the jerk was but the woman interrupted her and start asking here about how hot or extra hot she wanted her food. If she let her finish she might have able to answer the question she was being asked instead of being rude and not listening to the customer's question. I will not be returning to this spot even though the food was good. I will not be disrespected by a business that I am supporting with my hard earned dollars. There are so many customer focused businesses here that I don't have to feel taken advantage of by a rude customer service person. So now you know if she pisses you off and tries to ruin your day. Advisers you have been fore warned.

We stopped in for a visit cause it was on tv dinner, drivins, dives. The food has good flavor, but you better like you spicy food. Now my portion not very good had all back bones. Several had no meat on them at all. Though the food was good tasting I would not go back. Where were a nice price of breast or leg and thighs. But all back bones is nasty. Peace out. Clr

The place is small, few tables to sit at, smoke from the kitchen tells you it's from scratch. I had the oxtails with cabbage, rice & beans. Oxtails melted in your mouth very tender indeed. In addition I tried a single portion of whiting fish. Fried to perfection. Wait wasn't long to received your food. I recommend Ena's while visiting Columbus. I will surely visit again on my return.

We enjoy Ena's food. She is from Jamaica and is serving signature dishes from her homeland. The Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, Oxtails, Rice and Peas, Red Snapper and Plantains are simply delicious. The food reminded me and my husband of our vacation in Jamaica. If you want authentic Jamaican food this is the place to be, as the rest of the restaurants, in the area can not compare to the quality and taste of food served at this establishment. We enjoy eating here and we recommend trying them if you are in town. The only complaint is the building is small so most orders are to go.

My wife and I had lunch at Ena's yesterday. It was our first experience there, and I think we will have to find an excuse to be in the area to do it again in the future! First, the quantities are quite large, especially for lunch, so we even though we ate in, we brought a good portion of it home. My wife had their BBQ Jerk Chicken with rice and beans. She "forced" me to taste it, and it was SO good that I wish I had ordered it for myself. Hoping that there would be some kind of Caribbean flair to it, I ordered the Fried Perch dinner with rice & beans and plantains. The perch was very good, but I didn't find anything special about it. On the other hand, I thought the plantains were cooked perfectly! I thought it was odd that the menu board where you walk up to order has no prices on the items. Their menu does have prices, and the prices are very reasonable. The place was very busy when we were there, so we had a pretty long wait for our meal but it was worth the wait. I saw several reviews mention limited parking. I suggest you park on Myrtle Avenue. It is a one way street as you drive east on Myrtle, so you can park on either side of the street as you approach Cleveland Avenue.

The food was tasty, and the portions are huge. You order at the counter, then wait for them to call you. Very limited seating, consider taking it out. Limited parking too.

My family really enjoyed our lunch. Food was outstanding. We tried the jerk chicken, lamb, red snapper and oxtail. All were great. Jerk chicken is spicy. Sides were excellent, as we tried the Mac and cheese, potato salad, cabbage, collard greens, rice and beans, and plantains. Only down side was the restaurant was smoky from the cooking and stuck with us as we left. They probably need better ventilation. I call this a great local joint for food.

This was my first time eating Caribbean food and Ena’s has introduced me into one of my favorite kind of food now! Ena’s has wide range of food options for can’t beat prices! Everything is made to order so there is a little wait, but trust me it’s worth it!!! The shrimp is my favorite dish at this restaurant. You have the option to select the level of spicy from 1-10. Hands down one of my favorite places in Columbus!
