Crowded Italian style bistro in the popular short north part of town prior to a Clippers game. Parked in the market area and walked over. The restaurant is very centrally located! Sat in the bar area and had good service. We ordered several appetizers including the meatball which was very good as was the prosciutto and melon. Well worth a... More

The giant meatball is big. So tender and flavourful! The pasta was fresh and delicious! There was a problem when 2 of us got our meal right away and we had to wait 10 minutes for the last meal to arrive. The waitress was very apologetic and fixed it right away!

Great Italian food! Even simple sphagetti and giant meatball was soooo delicious. Their calm linguini was super good too.

I had the best meatball and spaghetti ever. Veal meatball the size of a softball-perfectly cooked yet tender and mild flavor (not dull though). Served with half-order (sensible) of spaghetti not too wide or narrow. Hubby had a great, unusual pepperoni pizza. He kept going for that humongous meatball of mine, though...it was that good. Wonderful service, but the Tiramisu... More

I had a very good experience at the Polaris location so I tried this location thinking it would be the same. I ordered the same food but it was presented differently and tasted different too. This location is much more rowdy and loud, assuming because of the location downtown. The didn't seem to have enough staff working as we waited... More

Easily one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Despite being crowded, we were seated right away. Service was outstanding. The menu is not particularly unique - typical Italian - but everything is done very well. The chicken parmesan and fettuccini I ordered was absolutely on point. I'd gladly eat here again!

Amazing, we had the Calamari, salads and salami to start. Salami was what u would buy at the grocery store 5 dollars for four slices. Other than that everything was top notch.

Table of six but service was fantastic! Drinks and food service quick despite crowded restaurant. We all shared a few of the flat bread pizza. So good, the Marguerite was the best! We all needed separate bills, no problem! Good tips that night.

I dined here with my family on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was bustling with activity. We found the food offerings appealing to all members of the family. Ingredient quality is very good. Thankfully, Marcellas does not serve "food service, processed food". It is refreshing to find an upscale family restaurant where I would be just as happy visiting... More

Used to be good, but being popular has been its downfall. The piece of salmon was the smallest I have ever been served in a restaurant. There is now lots of competition in the Short North, so no need to go to Marcellas again.
