About
Anand and Doris Saha, the creators of Mozart's, met in Switzerland in 1989. Anand studied Hotel Management while Doris completed her training as a professional pastry Chef. When the opportunity to move to Columbus, Ohio arose in 1995, the couple risked everything they had to open their own bakery and make Columbus their home. After struggling for the first few months, they soon found themselves the creators of perhaps the best pastry shop in the city. With the generous support of the Columbus community, Mozart's has grown famous for authentic European foods and an atmosphere that could not be found anywhere else.

In December, 2023, my wife and I hosted a 75th birthday party for 40 friends and family. I am from Columbus, but now live in California, and wanted to be with this group for this special event. I contacted Janelle at Mozart's and a couple of other places. We selected Mozart's because of their really nice selection of dinner choices, their bar options, and very reasonable prices. They were extremely helpful in planning and making selections. When we arrived in Columbus and visited the space, I was really pleased with the lay out, the decorations, and the attention to detail. The service and quality of the food was terrific. The staff were all pleasant and attentive. They really made the event a wonderful occasion. I could not recommend Anand, Janelle, and the staff more highly.

On Thursdays, Mozart's Cafe offers a Proper Tea. Seven friends and I took advantage of this today. Absolutely delightful. Reservations must be made in advance, along with the preferred tea per person. They offer Mint, Earl Grey, English Breakfast Tea and several others. Food included scones with jam and clotted cream, small sandwiches, and a variety of petit fours. Cost is $22/person and is well worth it. Our group was not the only party enjoying this event, there eere at least 2-3 other groups enjoying this Thursdsy afternoon treat.

We had my daughter's quinceanera at Mozart's in July of 2023. My family and I have been patrons for many years and my children have grown up loving this local restaurant for its pastries, breakfast items and ambiance. When we needed a venue for the quinceanera, we only considered Mozart's. Both the owner, Anand, and the event coordinator, Janelle, were AMAZING to work with. They were responsive, flexible, and helped ease the stress of putting on a large event. I always felt well taken care of over the course of the year of planning. On the event day, I was blown away by the extra attention given to our guests and the overall energy of the staff. Every time I looked over, they were ready to serve with a smile. It was the absolute perfect venue for our event. I am forever grateful to Anand and his staff for the wonderful memories made for our daughter, our family, and our guests at Mozart's.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our 50th anniversary party we hosted at Mozart's. We've been longtime customers of the bakery and cafe, but had never hosted an event there.
From the beginning planning stages, Janelle was so easy to work with and helped us determine the room and menu that would work best for our group. We held our party in the Beechwold Tavern Room and many people commented on what a warm and inviting space it was.
The food was outstanding. We used the Austrian Affair menu with canapes and mini dessert pastries and we're still getting comments on how delicious everything was. They were also beautifully presented and very elegant.
We highly recommend holding your special event at Mozart's. The personal care and attention to detail, the accommodating staff and the delicious food make it the perfect venue for any celebration.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the 50th anniversary party we hosted at Mozart's. We've enjoyed treats from their bakery and an occasional brunch at the bakery and cafe. We were searching for a unique place to host our 50th wedding anniversary dinner party and, Mozart’s just stood our brightly.
From the early inquiries and planning stages, Janelle and Anand were very easy to work with and helped us determine the room and menu that would work best for our group (had anticipated about 50 guests but grew to 64).
We reserved the Beechwold Tavern Room for our party but had a real pleasant surprise the day before when Anand and Janelle were able to accommodate the growing guest list by placing us in the ballroom. They even went to the trouble to make sure there were enough handicap parking spaces available as we had several guests with limited mobility.
The food was outstanding. We had the classical dinner buffet with beef stroganoff and spatzle, German roast pork loin which was accompanied by a garden salad, bread, broccoli and a special request Sonata Torte which was Outstanding! We are still getting comments on how delicious everything was.
The room was beautifully decorated for the season as were the individual tables. Again more comments from our guests on the elegance of the venue.
We highly recommend holding your special event at Mozart's. The personal care and attention to detail, the accommodating staff and the delicious food make it the perfect venue for any celebration.

Yet again, Mozarts. Anand, Janelle and team have gone above and beyond to meet our catering needs. Not only was the order process efficient and easy but the food and outcome was even better! Every last piece was eaten at our event with everyone giving kudos to Mozarts! Thank you Mozarts Team!

We pulled up and weren't sure Mozart's was open - this at 9AM or so on a recent weekday morning. But the sign said "Breakfast" - so we parked and went in...
There was one customer inside and we weren't sure what was up. But the one person working inside showed us the menu, it looked interesting, so we ordered and seated ourselves. Food came fairly quickly and there are two things to note: (1) The food was very good and (2) portions were massive! I ordered a breakfast sandwich expecting something like an egg McMuffin. Nope! What I was delivered was a delicious sandwich that was the size of three or four typical breakfast sandwiches.
The coffee was great - BTW.
A few people began to trickle in and we decided that seeing a car in the lot (ours) helped others answer our initial question: Are they open?
Mozart's is an event space, first and restaurant, second. Maybe for weddings? It is choppy and odd and not very inviting...But I would return for breakfast again making sure to arrive starving...

Our rehearsal dinner at Mozart’s was incredible! I had to plan the event from out of town. After checking reviews for different venues. I was impressed with all the positive comments about Mozart’s venue and their excellent service. Every detail was superb. I spoke with them via the phone and had many follow up emails with Janelle before deciding that I wouldn’t find a better location or receive better service at any other venue. When I told my soon to be daughter in law my choice, she was thrilled. Mozart’s is a favorite for her. I asked to have a special dessert made for her. Turns out that wonderful dessert was her sisters favorite from Mozart’s. All of our guests were happy with the elegance, the privacy, the scrumptious food and the attentiveness of of Anand the owner and the staff. I thought surely four hours was too long for a rehearsal dinner. It wasn’t our guest didn’t want to leave. They enjoyed every aspect of the affair which I believe was only possible at Mozart’s!

I threw my sister and her a wife a 45 person baby shower at Mozart's and it was perfect. Janelle was constantly in touch leading up to the show to make sure we had everything we needed. I even called two days before to make sure two of our guests could be served gluten free and it was not problem. The afternoon tea theme was such a fun/unique way to celebrate. During the baby shower Anand, the owner even stopped in to make sure everything was going smoothly. You can tell that Mozart's truly cares about the experience they are giving their guest.

Outstanding Austrian cuisine !!! This is a must visit while in Columbus
We enjoyed the mushroom and goulash soup, bacon and ham quiche , Mozart club sandwich . Suzie our hostess was very helpful in her suggestions and service.
As we completed lunch Annan the owner spent some time with us sharing the history of the cafe and a few of his favorite places to visit in Austria and Europe.
It was a delightful afternoon and we look forward to our next visit.
The pastry selection was amazing and was a perfect compliment to our meal . We shared the chocolate and apricot/ pear. They were delicious and transported us back to Austria 🇦🇹

I was in charge of planning our company holiday party (for 15) and Mozart's made it all very easy. The private room was perfect for our gathering, the staff was attentive, the pianist added great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend Mozart's for events.

My 92 year old mother passed away last fall. I grew up going to high teas with both she and my grandmother when I was young. My mother continued this tradition with my daughter. For my mother's funeral reception I knew that I wanted to have tea sandwiches. Mozarts worked with me to select the right assortment of sandwiches and sweets. They lent me the the tiered trays that are make for a very elegant presentation. In short, they went out of their way to accomodate my needs--even letting me pick up the items before they officially opened for the day. I highly recommend Mozarts. I will be taking my daughter there to continue this family tradition. Be sure to enjoy the pianist, as well!

We were so grateful to have our wedding ceremony at Mozart’s! They made planning everything so easy and took care of a lot of the small details so we did not have to worry. They provided wonderful table service, all of the glassware, plates, flatware, and even some decorative gold chargers to the dining tables. We were able to add a few of our own decorative touches as well. We had an afternoon brunch ceremony on a Sunday afternoon with a talented pianist who played throughout the brunch and then we utilized the in house sound system to play a wedding playlist for some dance floor time! Brunch was absolutely delicious, we were able to customize it and add a few extra touches including a complimentary champagne toast! Anand, Janelle, Susie and the entire staff were extremely professional and accommodating. Susie is an extremely talented and wonderful wedding officiant who created one of a kind personalized ceremony for us. She is highly recommended!We even had our cake and cupcakes made in house that were such a treat and came out so beautiful. We especially loved the idea that we could have our ceremony, pictures and brunch reception all in the same spot to minimize stress and travel for our guests. It was a beautiful day made special by the staff at Mozart’s. They even had our name on the marquee outside of the venue on our wedding day. Please don’t hesitate to consider Mozart’s for your special day! They make it simple yet elegant and you will not be disappointed!

Thank you Mozarts for making our Bridgerton Inspired Chai Tea Party event simply fantastic. All our guests loved the ambiance, the amazing table service, delicious canapés, scones and pastries.
You helped us to create the Regency era atmosphere at Mozarts and it was just perfect.
Special thanks to Anand Saha for making Chai for us, Janelle for helping coordinate the event and Paul for playing beautifully on the grand Piano!
It was wonderful how easy the Mozarts team made it possible for us to host the event. They had everything set ahead of time and were a dream to work with. Will definitely be hosting more events with them.

Mozart's was extremely accommodating for a late notice brunch arrangement after a parent's funeral service. They were very flexible as we had more attendees than expected, the food was excellent as well as the service. The owner and staff were very gracious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
