If you like glitz and bling, this isn't for you.

I hadn't been here in several years and thankfully it hasn't changed. It is an old building that is basically one room with brick walls, several tables and a bar. The menu and beer list are both very eclectic and you won't be disappointed. One of the beer specials was Anchor Steam for $2 but we... read more

When I saw this place I didn't think much of it but when I got inside and got the real vintage feel with a menu full of amazing food I quickly changed my opinion and after enjoying a amazing meal I realized if your in columbus stop at the old Mohawk restaurant and grab some great food!

The best part of this restaurant is it's location in German Village. The soups and sandwiches are always good and the beer choices are amazing. This is not gourmet fare, just solid good food offered at a fair price.

Went for lunch. The restaraunt was busy. Got seated immediately and the service was great. Our food was delivered promptly and hot. The soup and sandwich combination is a great value and will fill you up. Mac n Cheese is another favorite.

I don't know how this restaurant rates for dinner. I will just say that if you eat salad for lunch, you probably want to skip the Old Mohawk. I know they have received complaints about the freshness of their lettuce mix and they continue to serve it. I won't be back to give them a third opportunity.

Great place to eat and interesting history. The turtle soup is wonderful, yes real turtle. At one time the original owner is rumored that he raised turtles in the basement to use for the soup. They are always busy every time I go there but the service is really good and they have a friendly staff.

I had the fish and chips with a Great Lakes Monster. You get a huge portion of fish. The outside was crispy with a moist inside. Perfecto! The chips were seasoned perfectly. No salt needed. The place was very busy and service was spot on. Thanks for the great meal!

Hubby and I were driving through Columbus heading back to Cleveland and had to stop at Old Mohawk for lunch. My hubby has been looking forward to their bratwurst dinner for over a year and he thoroughly enjoyed it again today. I had the Mohawk quesadilla and it was good could have been warmer but otherwise it was fine. Service... More

Ate lunch here. Ordered the turtle soup and Ruben, Wife ordered the Ruben. Both were very good. Waitress was very nice and efficient. I live in the neighborhood and go there at least 2 times a week. There is a nice variety of comfort food. "Lots of Cheese".I love the quesadillas and burgers but is all good and hearty. Barbie makes the best french martinis and they have my favorite beer Stella. Like home.
